Probably a CTS, as it's one of the most popular models.  My mother looked at that car as well and eventually, it came down to either the CTS or the Audi A4.  As stated above, she picked the Audi.  They are very similar cars.

I have a car as old as myself, a 1991 Camry.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

I do like the CTS, of course I sure wouldn't mind owning a CTS-V, those are beasts!

My dad drives a '96 Toyota Avalon, my mom drives a '00 Acura TL, and I drive a '91 Honda Accord. All three have over 100k miles but are still running really well. Last week when I took my car to get serviced they had to do additional work with the brakes, including replacing the master cylinder. Sometimes when I drove for around 15 minutes or more I would gradually have to push the brake pedal farther and farther down each time I had to make a complete stop.

I thought about a colorful dragon.

But you're right, sometimes they do not fit a car.

My mother and I share a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

03-montecarlo-hero.jpg

Ours is in white though.  It's such a great car, and it has about 77,650 miles on it.  I wish they still made them though.  Hopefully GM will regrow a brain and have more affordable two-dour coupes.

My parents drive a 1999 Toyota Sienna and a Honda Accord from 1993.

Not very exciting.

And I'm still a while from driving a car myself... (As in more than a year)

Why all the old cars?

My mom has a 2009 Range Rover.

My grampa has a Acura Tl not sure the year.

My  Uncle has a 2008 Ford Mustang GT i might be able to get that next year but he dosen't want me to have it as a first car. 28.gif I'd rather have a Viper though but they are alot more money because its the last year.

Two primary reasons:

1)  Not all of us have the money to go out and buy a new car whenever we feel like it.

2)  Some of us (like me) might like their "old" cars better than most of the new ones.  My Acura is 12 years old, runs great, gives me little trouble, and...  well frankly, hardly anyone makes a car like it anymore (both a low beltline and sits close to the road).  Quite simply, I haven't found any new cars I like better than mine.  Dad's the same way.  He won't trade his 2003 Subaru Outback for anything.  He likes it too much.

We do have a lot of younger members, so I would expect the older cars. Between myself and my friends, the newest car is a '02 Accord. The rest? A '71 Beetle, '86 MR2, and a late 90's Blazer. I like my car, but if I had the money, I'd definitely go out and buy a Mustang, preferably a '11 GT. 4.gif

Mustangs!?! I have always despised them. Unless of course they are from 1976 or before. I must admit they are quite stylish though.

Well, we used to drive a 1993 Audi 500 SE. Huge lumbering beast, very difficult to drive and very expensive to maintain. So my mom sold the car off. Then we decided that a Chevrolet Spark, we bought it is 2007 I think was good. It's small, but extremely fuel efficient something like 20Kms/L on the open road. We don't do much driving (mom works from home) so we only fill the tank up every 2 months! It used to be every 2 weeks 9.gif We got the LT version. It's goven us at least two good open road trips to Hermanus (around 150 Km/s away from Cape Town) so I'm very impressed.

I am desperate for a car but insurance is soo expensive in the UK I can't afford to drive 15.gif ($3500 to insure a 1.0 litre car for a year at my age!)

My mum drives a 2006 BMW 1-Series 118D in black which i've snook a drive in and it's very nice 4.gif

My dad used to drive a 2004 BMW 3-Series 120D but he now half lives in Japan so sold it

I suppose I could say what I'm learning to drive in...

My first car I learnt to drive in was a 2010 Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge which was quite nippy

The car I'm learning in now is a bigger 2010 Fiat Punto Evo 1.4 Multiair which is even faster 4.gif

There's no reason for me to have a car, and I don't even have a driver's license. My parents have a Toyota Prius I think.

I've been driving my parents' maroon 1998 Ford Windstar (minivan) regularly for the last 2 years. That has around 170,000 miles on it right now, so I'm fortunate that it'll still start every time I turn the key. My mom usually drives a forest green 2002 Chevy Suburban with 130,000 miles on it since she works in town, and my dad usually drives a black 2003 Ford Escape with 105,000 miles on it (his looks like the one pictured below, though, and not a typical Ford Escape).

We also used to have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, however, it got totaled in an car accident a few years ago. (Edit: found a better picture)

And yes, my father is a Jeep fan!

I'll go into more detail here.

My dad drives that old '96 Bronco, which is a mere rustbucket and smells awful.

My mom drives the Silverado, I like it more.

I think we may need to buy some of those pine tree car fresheners. 3.gif
