Okay, you had me going like "huh, wha?" there for for a moment, then I realized you were talking about Huston Street.

Very different from Houston Street. 49.gif

Anyone watch the tribute to Steinbrener on YES? The revealed a monument and called the whole family to the field. Everyone from Yogi Berra to Goose to Mo and Jeter to John Flarty and Michael Kay had good things to say. Even Joe Torrie and Don mattily were there.

Don't count on the LA Chokers for anything [they already got their butts handed to them by the Pads last night 6-0].  They couldn't win a game if you spotted them 10 points.  They suck and they will continue to suck until the McCourts are forced to sell the team to real baseball knowledgable minded people.  And this comes from a die-hard Dodger fan.

I'm about to give up all hope. The Bucs beat the Cards 11-6 tonight. They are on a winning streak of 5 games. Good for them and all, but seriously... just pack it in and get dead last. We could use a first round pick. I suppose if Seattle can win a few here at the end then the Bucs will be ok... but if you're going to suck, then suck.

There never was any hope with this team, even the past couple of years when they went to the NLCS and couldn't beat a team like the Phils.  Ever since the O'Malleys sold the team to the Fox Corp and Murdoch ran the team into the ground so he could use it as a tax write-off, then sold it to an idiot who knows next to nothing about baseball, how could one have hope for this team?  As far as I'm concerned, the glory days of this team are past them and unless they get owners who actually know the game of baseball, then this team will always be a pretender and not a contender.

I'm hoping the Rays take the last game in this series from the Yankees so the Twins can sneak in ahead for home field advantage.

Kerry Wood (34) - $11 Million club option (See Kevin Gregg^)

Juan Cruz (30) - $4 Million club option with a $500K buyout (See Kerry Wood)

Kyle Farnsworth (35) - $5.25 Million club option with a $500K buyout (See Juan Cruz)

    * Bold = Scott Brocus is their agent.

When the season ends we will see alot of past superstars retire such as Brad Ausmus, Billy Wagner, Mike Lowell and possibly Jeremy Bonderman, Trevor Hoffman and Jim Thome. Stan Kasten will have stepped down and Bobby Cox will retire from managing. Bob DuPoy will no longer be cheif operations officer and according to Bud Selig we could have 2 more wild card teams.

So yea thats my offseason predictions anyone else wanna add to it? Or at least make your own?

week free agency year IMO. Cliff Lee will be a sweepstakes, but who else? It seems every year theres always that one major free agent [i.e. mark texiera] that all the big market teams salivate over until the yankees overpay him by 40-50 million dollars. Jayson Werth IMO is the most tempting name on that list simply because of his age, all the other productive players on that list are well into their thirties.

Cliff Lee will be a Yankee.

They will not let go of the fact they lost him to the Rangers mid season.

Hopefully we will ride him like the phillys did to the world series.
