Don't kid yourself.  I've been following basebal for more than 35 years and I've seen it all when it comes to World Series and it's ratings.  You have two teams that are not very popular with the general baseball fan and a Series like this rarely draw large ratings.  How much you wanna bet the ratings for this series will be at best, mediocre?  Like Duke said, a majority of the country will not be all that interested in this series.

As a Giants fan, I'm definitely really excited for this series. Texas is going to be real tough... the numbers they put up against the Yankees were crazy.

Yeah Texas was really swinging the bats against NY. I think I'm going to have to back Texas this time. I wouldn't mind seeing SF get the win, if only because I like to see former Pirates (Freddy Sanchez in this case) get a world series win. Either way I'm excited for the series. I'd like to see it go seven games.

This will be a very interesting WS. I'm not really a fan of either team, but I still get excited about it. Each team has great motivation in this series. I'm not really rooting for either side though, I think it would be great if either one of the teams came away winning.

Gotta say Rangers have the momemtum, but Giants have the pitching (aside from Cliff Lee) so its very even, however i believe it will be tougher for the Rangers to score in SF then the Giants in Arlington.

Should be a pitchers duel, but I don't put anything past the Rangers ability to tatoo pitchers like Lincecum, they've done it before and no reason to believe they can't do it again.  Plus there's the fact that Lincecum hasn't really been that dominate pitcher this year like he was the previous two.
