The city is magnificent as always Mike, and definately, I've got to admire your lotmaking skills for the custom lots you made for Cabel Bay if I'm not mistaken. The pond is great, and those trees look amazing especially when corresponding with the pond!

Keep up the magnificent work! 44.gif

BTW; Have a happy welcome to page 14!!39.gif

I like how your roads aren't always parallel around your towns.  Interesting skyline road.  It seems to fit into the mountainous landscape.  hey and how can you go wrong with a Target in town.  Good work.  I'll keep the gangsta talk on the down low . . . .

    49.gif Update 27

    The Teaser Update: Norwood

    Replying To Your Comments.

Aleking - Thanks for your comments. Glad you like that last pic in Update 26.

Chicago333 - Thanks for your comment. The suburbs do look familiar. 18.gif

DaveJowsey - Yeah, those slopes are annoying with the yucky walls in the hills. But what are you gonna do? Hopefully a mod will fix the problem in the future.

kingofsimcity - Thanks for your kind comment! I'm glad you appreciate my lot editing in this journal. It takes me a lot of time to make lots in the lot editor, and I'm glad you enjoy it.

railrod7 - Thanks. Yeah, the Target looks great in Norwood. And I'm glad you like the road in the mountains (Mountainview Drive). Thanks again.

palmgurl - Wow! Wutta comment!! I'm glad you loved your house. That model is from Vlakhaas, I think called the Miramir house on the STEX. I thought adding the palm trees on your lawn would be a good edition to your house, and the private beach idea just came to me. Glad you like that palm forest too! Thanks for your great comment!

dhoppeii - Hey, thanks for commenting. Glad you like that high school tour, and the bridge behind Cliffside Shopping Center. I didn't really plan the bridge out, I just let Mountainview Drive cross over the gap and I knew a bridge would appear. I just wanted to perfect the area around the bridge to make it look nice. Glad you like it.

    49.gif Update 28

    Belleport/Palma Island

jarnomiedema: Thanks alot! I'm glad Timber Pines is nice to you.

davejowsey: Great, I'm glad you find Norwood realistic! That is my simple approach.

Compromise: I have fixed the pictures. Hopefully you won't have any problem. Thanks for your comment and your alert.

dhoppeii: Thanks Dhoppe. Glad you like the Timber Pines community.

To ALL: Thank you for your continuing support. I'm glad everyone likes the Timber Pines area. That was my favorite part to Norwood, along with the Aries Village. Here is Belleport.

    Belleport, another community of Galena.

Galena is still spreading up to this day. Suburbs are surrounding the densley populated city. Norwood was the major suburb. Now we have another community, Belleport.

Belleport is located north of Norwood and 20-30 minutes north of downtown Galena. Belleport serves as another populous suburb, with a tiny downtown shopping area, parks, and a suburban mall.

Also in town off the coast of Cabel Bay is PALMA ISLAND. Palma Island is a mid-dense and highly upscale neighborhood only accessible by bridge or boat. It sits off the coast of Belleport in the beautiful Cabel Bay.

Palma Island is a very small island, but has a larger population, about 1,000. Bridgetown and Bayside are the two main small districts on the island, along with 1,200 feet worth of beach called PALMA BEACH. The island has breathtaking views of Cabel Bay and loads of palm trees. Also, the area has a marina for boats to dock.

    align=baseline>

    align=baseline>

ABOVE     The picture above shows the tiny districts on the island, Bayside and Bridgetown. Bayside is strictly residential, with luxurious midrises looking over the bay in a city of coastal palms. Bridgetown was given that name due to the bridge entering onto Palma Island. The district is highly commercialized, with wonderful restaurants, retail stores, and caf

Just passing through, don't have time to read the whole thing. I want to though, this looks really good.

I like the contrast (at least as I see it) between the dense suburbia and the tropical-looking beaches and marinas. Gotta love that tropical water mod1.gif.

hope you don't mind if i go for a dip in Norwood Pond, Mikeaut (don't worry...i'll keep the cloths on...no one wants to see that). that pond is great, and i really like your suburbs, whether they be crowded or surrounded by palms. great work.

    Some Areas of Belleport

    Comments and Questions.

Simworld 056132: Thanks for your nice comment. I still have to do some houses in the area so maybe I could put you in.

    Belleport... Vast Suburbs

Today we will be looking at a collection of pictures. Some will be of the suburban neighborhoods in Belleport, and others of the Burbano Mall. The last picture is downtown Belleport.

First let's start out with a MAP OF PALMA ISLAND.

    belleportmar235911295853961ci.jpg

    The Burbano Mall                           Belleport, CB

The Burbano Mall is Galena's largest shopping center with over 80 stores. The three main anchors are Nordstroms, Sears, and Hechts. Also, the Pizzaria Uno Italian Restaurant sits outside the main mall. The mall is also known for its prime clothing stores like Hollister, North Face, Abercrombie, and American Eagle. Also, there is a beautiful food court with palm trees and offers great restaurants like Wong Wok Chinese Food, McDonalds, Subway, Sbarro's, Henly Diner, and Country Kitchen. The Burbano Mall is the ultimate shopping experience for anyone, urban or suburban!

I love the suburban feel that you've been able to interject into some of your towns. The UNO pizza joint (at least I think that's what that was) right in front of the mall, the KFC/A&W Express with the other commercial service buildings next to the Target really help create a realistic vibe to your towns. Good job. Although this has been mentioned several times already, I'm really digging the island and Palma Beach looks pretty awesome as well. Keep up the good work.
