Krisman: Great airport there. You've done a swell job specially with the variable textures which add to the realism. Keep it up 9.gif I'll be waiting to see more from you.

I went back to an airport I built many moons ago to test out my new Airbus A300 lots. Here is the resulting terminal area:

More must-have lots! However, The jetway doesn't seem to blend in well. The plane does, however.

Yeah, the jetway isn't perfect. Look for improvements in the following aircraft series. I'll be making the A310, A330 and A340. The 330 and 340 are the modern ones, so I'm expecting to perfect the modelling of those ones, expecially the texturing and jetways.

Thanks Diz

The Airbus A300 plane model is too small.

Opinions:

The A300 is slightly longer and has 1 more door than you have on ur model. The short one would be A310 and not A300 (airbus a310 is a shorter version of a300)

Upload the short plane as Airbus A310

Its ok, but they're still good. A nice addition to any airport =]

zahrul3: It's not too small. If it were any larger, it'd be competing with the a330 already. The size is just right.

Thats a nice Sea-Tac recreation, what I'd do is keep working on it and get it even MORE perfect. Thats what I did when I recreated ATL, and you dont know how much better I got from that.

THx for your great ideas and complements! Sadly, I can't make the central terminal diagonal in the game like in real life because-#1It would mess up my airport (because i already built everything else around the terminal) and #2 There are no diagonal terminal entry lots. I can definite ly make it more perfect though! THanks again!

@masterbuilder: nice recreation of seatac there. The 747 doesnt match in with seatac, as most planes are boeing 737. Search for 'boeing' and youll find it.

@kingdiz_55: The Airbus A300-600 is actually longer than Airbus A330-200. A300-600 carries 264 three-class passangers while A330-200 carries 246 two-class. See the difference. The A300-600 is big but its a short-range airliner. Thats why you think the A300-600 is small. Unless your referring to Airbus A300B2, which is (obviously) shorter.

zahrul3- If you'v been to sea-tac,you'd know that The gates around the satellites are olmost all  heavy. When there are smaller airplanes in heavy gates avaliable to download-I will change that. Most airplanes at the airport are 737s. If you look at the picture closely most airplanes at the A, B, C, and D terminals most airplanes there are 737's. Some are Airbus, though. If anyone gets links to large airplanes in 747 heavy gates such as the 767 or the 757,please tell me.Also, I will be changing most o the aiplanes in the airport to match which real-world airlines park in which gate. I'm downloading extra liveries for the 737 right now to do so. Also, thanks for the compliments and ideas!

@MasterBuilder - I've never looked at Seattle-Tacoma airport to know what it's like, but your recreation of it looks like a well laid-out airport - good job!

I'd also like to clear up this talk about the airbusses. I modelled the Airbus A300 to real-life scale in GMAX - it really is that size. The Airbus A300-600 and Airbus A300B2 are all the same length. The difference is in the engines, avionics and the shaping of the tail-section of the fuselage. It is a medium-range, widebodied aircraft. Also everyone should know that the Airbus A300 was the original Airbus model. The A310 is a shortened version, and the A330 and A340 share its fuselage cross-section as well as its cockpit section and other similar features. No offence Zahrul, but I know what I'm talking about. I did the research before BATting the plane.

@kevinaj: Excellent. Plz make more they look really good.

@masterbuilder: Yea seatac is made for large planes but 747 is rare there. Mostly B737 but sometimes an occasional airbus a319 from frontier/northwest pops up.

@joelyboy911: if you consider your airbus is an A300 can you make an A310? Also great if you mix in old liveries and airlines that used the a300 once.

(like garuda indunesia red/white 1980's, thai airways, air france, singapore airlines and old monarch livery)

This isn't so much supposed to be a real airport as a test or proof of concept for a couple of things.  Whipped up this terminal in about 45 minutes without any planning:
