As my newest CJ, Camano, reaches 100 replies, I have begun to feel bored of it...the simealtanious are getting old. So, I start a simultaneous project, a series of cities in my first showcase! Enjoy these scenes of nature and beauty.

Although I now have new responsibilities, I will not cancel Camano.

Unfortunately, until I find a new image server/website and migrate to it, my showcase is on a temporary leave of absence. Moving all the images will be tough and I will have to occasionally use Photobucket so my images don't expire.

As you may notice, most images in the showcase have the default Photobucket Bandwith exceeded logo on them, so if you right click and select "Open image in new tab" you will be able to see it. Thanks!

www.majhost.com, none of the above worrier, and its faster, and you get subfolders, only downside is one image upload at a time. i use it...

The Town of Valley

We start out somewhere in the middle of Kent...a peaceful pond.

Make that two peaceful ponds and a winding road, which leads to...

...the quaint little village of Valley, population around 15.

GooberGen provides medical care to citizens, right next to the Union 76 gas pumps.

Citizens convene outside city hall before a court hearing.

Texaco, rival of Union 76, is the last surviving building that existed before the Great Fire of '56. A replica of the original Little Chef's Diner was also built.

A windmill looks over the mayoral estate.

Everybody commutes there from other towns. Makes perfect sense, as it's a small town that has suburbs.

Kent City, Part I: Downtown Core

Hello! This is your special GPS guide of Kent City, largest city and capital of Kent. I will guide you from your current location to your pre-set destination, which currently is [MERIDIAN RESORT]. Would you like to change this destination?

No? Okay! Here we go!

Welcome to Kent City! First, we are on Main Street, the main thoroughfare in the area, which is unusually quiet due to a packed Kent City FC game nearby. We are currently underneath the oldest bridge in the area, part of the Kent Intercontinental Railway (KIRA). Now, let's go through the Earth roundabout! Wheeeeeeeeeeee! We are now underneath the eastern wing of the Kent Convention Center, current home of SpaceCon X (2010), which has moved here from Seattle, Washington.

The logo of SpaceCon should momentarily appear on the screen.

Welcome to city center, containing the City Square, which oddly is a roundabout. We are now near the waterfront, which connects to the Kent Canal System.

The canals were built in the early 1990s to add beautification in pre-planning the whole city.

New construction still goes on, especially near the waterfront. The building you see to your right is the future SAFECO Bulding, to be completed in 2014.

Please turn right for a legal u-turn.

STOP! Wait for the bridge to come down. This draw bridge, the George Sanders Memorial Bridge, was built to be used by the tall yachts that commute on the canal daily.

Welcome to the nightlife...let's cross the canal and pass by the Waterfront Mall, located in another underwater canal.

Kent City, Part II: The Eastside Malls

Time to wake up after watching "The Hangover" with a hangover, and go shopping! Woo! No GPS! Let's go!

Ooh...let's go on top of the big tower!

Wow...look at the view! I can see across the canal! Waterfalls! Skyscrapers! Fish!

Mosaic! The Kent Marina has everything! Yachts and fishing galore! Click on the Marina icon to see the mosaic!

I wanna go up the hotel! Mess with towels! Watch some Star Wars at the Regal Cinemas...hours of non-stop George Lucas sci-fi action!

Nice peaceful shopping...ahh...

More shops! Hotel! Gas! Costco warehouse!

Mosaic two! The Downtown Kent Mall is anchored by a Sears, Hechts, Dillards, Century Cinemas and Pizzeria Uno. Click on the logo for the mosaic.

Nearby, shops and upscale offices/stores/condos rise near the Public Storage underneath the new freeway.

Mosaic 3! Another mall across town has set up shop...welcome to the real Kent City Mall, a large mall with a JCPenny, Sears, Dillards and Centennial Theater! Click on the logo for the mosaic!

The Kent City Mall just completed the new Willow Place outlet mall, anchored by TJMaxx.
