There certainly is much to be said for telecommuting.  Anyone who can work from home to avoid the daily rat race is very fortunate.  Being employed is a lot more expensive if you have to travel to the work place, and it costs the employer a bundle to provide the premises as well.  Does anyone see the end of the Scrooge and Marley office model?  Remember Scrooge wouldn't pay to have Marley's name removed after his death.
