Veuve Clicquot is a brand of French (real) Champagne made by the original champagne process.  Here's the article on wiki that explains why this is one of the top champagnes on the market.

 

This champagne is the favourite of my late wife, and we served it to guests at our wedding.  I've been to wine-tastings of various sparkling vintages and the VC has always stood out.

so we are thinking of moving out of michigan to a warmer state by next winter. working on saving money to get an actual house. and i am hoping it will be the last move. looking for a waterfront property and forest or at least trees. thinking of alabama.

Interesting you'd pick Alabama, between Mississippi and Georgia on the Gulf Coast.  You like hurricanes and tornadoes?  Even if you move to the northern part of the state, you may find you don't care for all that.  If you want a warm state, what's wrong with Arizona?

I think I'll take a little coffee this morning to get the blood flowing. I like the turkey day menu, not the usual US menu of dried turkey stuffed with box stuffing and mashed potatoes out of a box and of course the cranberry sauce from a can!!!!!

i am working thanksgiving day and the day after. two 8 hour shifts back to back. so no thanksgiving here this year. welcome to retail..lol. i hear we will have christmas off so we will have somekind of holiday.

I think I'll skip the beef and go with a nice, hot bowl of chicken noodle soup with a side of Japanese green tea to go along with it.  My kids gave me a cold for an early Christmas present.

Colds are a social disease.  You only get one if you are exposed to the general mob.  It seems to take some kind of catalytic mix of people to give you a cold.  I just got my annual flu shot.  I recommend it.

Ooo, fresh bread, too?  This place is the best.  I just got my flu shot on Saturday.  And then promptly visited a school that had three entire classes cancelled due to a flu outbreak.  Well, here's hoping I don't come down with a new fever any time soon.

Hot bread cures any minor woes, especially with a big hunk of fresh creamery butter melting into it.  Get well soon.

MOCK APPLE PIE (No Apples Needed)

  Pastry to two crust 9-inch pie    36 RITZ Crackers
2 cups water                               2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cream of tartar         2 tablespoons lemon juice
  Grated rind of one lemon           Butter or margarine
  Cinnamon

Roll out bottom crust of pastry and fit into 9-inch pie plate.  Break
RITZ Crackers coarsely into pastry-lined plate.  Combine water, sugar
and cream of tartar in saucepan, boil gently for 15 minutes.  Add lemon
juice and rind.  Cool.  Pour this syrup over Crackers, dot generously
with butter or margarine and sprinkle with cinnamon.  Cover with top
crust.  Trim and flute edges together.  Cut slits in top crust to let
steam escape.  Bake in a hot oven (425 F) 30 to 35 minutes, until crust
is crisp and golden.  Serve warm.  Cut into 6 to 8 slices.

I want to be geophysicist, I feel atracted to simulations over computational physics, also legal or forensics physics (this is new ). I have options. But first I guess that I'll be a physics teacher, the first job of every physicist.
