I've just got a good idea 37.gif for a building. Is it modern enough? I'll summarize it here. It will be a basic building. It is a glass dome with a big door, shaped like an igloo (the door will also be like one of an igloo. The rest of the description makes it not look exactly like one. On top of it is a large cilinder (with a glass top, made of metal) which serves as the only window of the building. The rest of the dome is covered with dirt, which will make it appear brown. Not an inch of the dome will be visible, except maybe through the window and the door. It will be 1x1 low density R$ containing 5 to 8 people.

Like the developers of star wars once said, you should look in the past to make futuristic buildings.
Everyone is making skyscrapers and big buldings, but you will also need the basic buildings for a city22.gif.

I have rendered one of these buildings. It's called Futuro and it was designed and manufactured in Finland in 1968. It was originally desingned for a holiday home. Sure it could be used in SimMars for example for R$$ building.

Date: 1/7/2005 9:48:22 PM Author: Official Orangeville BATter Here is my first SimMars BAT still has -incomplete textures           -no lighting           -exported on medium and I don't have a digital camera so I have to go into the game each time I want a snapshot. SimMars%20App.%20pic1.JPG It is modelled after: Building%2010.jpg This is also a small demonstration of BAT skills, as required.

That's so amazing! Just want to say that there're some li'l differences between the way glass reflects the lights on earth and on Mars where there's not as dense atmosphere. While the glass on the background building looks vivid.
