961. Yeah... no, it's 2.34 pm here. (Yes, I get it.)

Plus, you're supposed to be 960.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

Wouldn't that be a paradox if you did? 2.gif

Now, assuming you meant "more points than your post count"... other things give you points besides posting, you know. This is going to give me post #17409 but point #17449.

971. It would however be a lot more difficult to have more posts than points.

973. Nearly all the girls at school were talking about that movie today, the one I dare not speak the name of, and it was REALLY annoying.

Heh. Guess who in about an hour has to go drop off his sister at her friend's house so they can go see it.

978. Yeah... I hate the dusk too. Still too bright for good astronomy.

979. Speaking of astronomy (and getting off the subject of that God-forsaken movie), does anyone have a Celestron telescope? I hear that they're very high quality for their price.

981. I'm getting one. A NexStar 5 SE. Schmidt-Cassegrain optical design, max. 300x zoom, 0.91 arcseconds resolving power. GoTo integrated hand controller with a 38,181 object database.

I also got a set of eyepieces and a sky atlas. All that for under $2000.

982 I don't have a telescope but I have seen the stars. I have been able to travel far from the city and see the night sky as it should be seen... in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. I must say, the Southern seemed far more spectacular. That could be because I was in some serious wilderness in Australia, far from the lights of the city. (Blue Mountains National Park.) I have been in the wilderness of the US, but the same ole' sky gets boring after a while.

983. I can see the stars here every night, if I wanted to, while I do live in a city. It isn't a very big one, but still a city.

(1)984: On a good night, I can see satellites with my binoculars, but the binoculars are unstable. Can't wait to get my telescope...

    987. Listening to the ratings of movies on WMTJ 620 out of Milwaukee, and they gave "New Moon(There, I said it. Want me to put in astericks?!) the most AWFUL reviews. So did the local paper. Worse than the one star they both gave Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I hear it's quite mushy, and dark, like the last one. Beleive me, I don't go to Chic Flicks like that.

Some Chic Flicks: The High School Musicals(1 was good, 2 was of, three, um...) Cinderella(classic, but still) and many more. Anyone know of other chic flicks?

    990. Ya see, I would watch that movie because I will watch any movie. It doesn't matter what it is. However, just because I'll start any movie, doesn't mean I will finish any movie. I guess the point I'm trying to make is, I like movies.
