This is my first Bat ever,

Finally after 2 years (when i first designed the building) i'm able to virtualize it for my city, finally i now know how gmax works and so i started the project. Since i'm still a beginner, i need quite some help from experienced Batters.

The project was planned to be the worlds tallest tower with a hight of 600 meters (2000 feet i think) and it had around 125 floors.

here are some pics of the progress:

this is the buildings entrance hall with a smaller rectangular building to the right:

after that comes the top of the building which isn't finished yet:

<ahttp://img330.imageshack.us/img330/3521/28sc.jpg align=baseline>

the main tower has two smaller towers attached to it with lifts and smaller offices:

here's a view of the main tower:

and last: there's a front view of the complex:

(I got your PM, BTW- you should just continue what you had planned).

cool!  They are modern but still very believeable.  Make sure that you do a good job texturing, since the textures could make or break your good modeling.  If you need help with the textures feel free to pm me, but I'll be out of town the 16th-23rd, so if you pm me then, you'll have to wait for me to come back.

I am mostly not so much into towers, but I must say your BAT tower and the Lego one are very well designed buildings.
    Great work!

Oh man, what an awesome surprise! Your work looks excellent, very thought out, modern, and very creative. I love those designs, they look so great, I can't wait until you release them! I must say that I really like that lego tower, I sincerely hope you will create that after this fine project. I like how you seem to have blended designs from different buildings and made them one, it looks excellent. Good luck, and keep up the great work!

well, thanks for the positive feedback.

It might still be a vision of mine, but maybe after 10 or 20 years you'll see one of these buildings around in real life. I would love to see them in my home country of the Netherlands somewere in the randstad or the south in Limburg.

    but... it's stil a vision

Both designs are excellent. I wish you the best of luck with your current BAT as I can't wait to see the Lego model in BAT and the game.

I made a spire on top of the roof the other day, just to make this building around 600 meters high because it was only 576 meters high.

But i have a question regarding textures: Do you guys think it is needed for the building go get some more textures on the walls or is it ok this way.

I ask that because texturing isn't one of my strong points yet and i also need someone who could scale the building to the right size29.gif

I just wanted to let you know that my second project won't be the Lego Tower. The lego Tower will be the 3th project because i first wan't to create one of my favorite buildings around: The Lippo Centre in Hong Kong. I started the project but before i continue i first will finish the VM Tower

here are some renders of what i have so far:

Finally the main modeling is done. And it's about time because my computer began to become incredibly slow.31.gif

Here's a picture of the top of the building with the added spire:

You have quite a talent for this. Awesome job man, I'm extremely impressed; I'll definitely keep my eye on your projects, especially since the quality will only go up with time. I really like the look of that Lippo BAT. I will be eagerly awaiting future development!

ok, I have 2 questions for you guys out there:

1: Could please someone do the nightlichtning for me? I made it myself quite difficult to do

2: I can't seem to open the Lippo Centre BAT anymore, it gives me a 'failed to load' message. Anyone know how to solve this? (It happened after i rendered it for a preview ingame)

What an incredibly modern skyscraper! The spire at the top really makes its conspicuous grandeur even more prominent. You certainly got skill, and I am looking forward to plopping this puppy in the middle of my downtown.
