I take back the last comment I said, that last picture of the high street looks proper UK quality! Anyway, I knew about that insane building in Birmingham, but had no idea it was a Selfridges! What will those people think of next??? Please show more picture and a region pic if possible. Great job on that last update.

Cheers!

Wow , great CJ so far. Nice to see another UK based CJ. They are getting more and more popular (how could it be different with such great lots).

Also nice to see the pedestrian walkway. Very European it is. What is the commercial lot?
Is the walkway transit enabled?

Keep the good work up!39.gif

    Growing ^UP^

    More then ever the evidence if Birmingsfields transition from Industrial to Commercial is showing on the city skyline. The most notable is '2 Southwark Terrace'

    Standing Above Birmingsfield Central

    The Lobby Opposite the Canal

    Old and New office towers looking over Station Square

    Another notable change is the demolishon of the old 102 and 104 Cathedral Street, the new 102 Cathedral Street has been built across the road, replacing the two small 2 story buildings with large, affordable office space.

    Seeing the results of a great Batter in action in his own cj is very inspiring. Keep up the great work with both BAT and the cj.

    Great as always, keep it up. Can you point me in the right direction regarding the Bus station in your latest post, is this already on the stex or a future release?

    I can see you get the most out of this outstanding game Maxis created for us.

    This CJ covers all the bases. Excellent custom bats made on your own. Realworld based cities that you can sink your teeth into!

    Dan, you are a SC4 machine! I dig all the great buildings, etc.. you have created and shared.
    I have quite a few in my PI folder.

    I also appreciate your rail lines and attention to detail.

    Keep up the the great work and contributions!

    Looking forward to what comes next!

    Cool looking maps - you can tell you use Photoshop because of the way those lines appear. Keep up the great work! 1.gif

    Great UK style city.

    How do you make the roads like that?
    On my version, they have the two yellow lines in the centre of the road...

    Exiting New Developments on the North Bank (City Center)

    Over the past few years Birmingsfield has seen great change from Industry to Commerce (as featured in recent updates). Here are a a couple of the new developments.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/CommercialRoadTower.jpg align=baseline>
    The Modern 'Commercial Road Tower', allthough not on commercial road this is part of the city center modernistation project.

    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary/CathedralWharf.jpg align=baseline>
    Cathedral Wharf is a new Housing Project to replace all the Concrete 1960's buildings built after the war, this should neaten up this Historical and Important part of the city.

    Cathedral harf looks quite nice but what I really enjoyed is that closeup of that tramway with ff monument and these nice commercials.

    That is high end of building cities and make screenshots of them! 29.gif

    I like the Cathedral wharf pic, but me being me would plump for Gascookers building being built instead of those maxis apartments. If not GC, I would try to get as many mansion houses to grow as possible (I see there is one there already). Love the new commercials, they really set of the CJ!
