Ha! I have the honor to give the very first reply to your new cj! Great pics, excellent start! Simgoober's canals and docks look wonderful; as well as the industrial city: I always love dirty industrial areas, for you don't see them very often in all those smooth and polished cj's! Great start!

That first picture is just perfect - the huge mill right on the canalside is just how much of the industrial infrastructure was built.  Of course most of those mills are now converted into apartments.

HEY - two good news:

1. Il Tonkso has a new CJ!!
2. Brennt isn't finished!!

Hey, I like your industrial look. They have that certain feeling I miss in my industrial area. And your use of SimGoobers new Kanals is great! 25.gif

i don't usually comment on CJs but this is excellent Tonks - this is very much like my playing style, lots of industry and realism. Nice to see some inspirational factory filled areas. SG's canals work effortlessly with the industrial BATs - we need more! I'm off to make some more factories...44.gif

Yes, more factories! Speaking of which, what tileset are your recent factories on? They dont appear to be growing anymore (i have switched to the euro tile set only so i can have your houses)

I have wanted to build a city like this for ages now, but unfortunatly (while great in there own way) Oppies canal set was a little to european to fit in with the British Industrial scene, and of course the GLR helps lot (allthough it crashes my game a bit34.gif) because the UK's cities all seem to be building these modern tram networks, Sheffield, Birmingham and Manchester all have them. leeds has on, London has one and Portsmouth cant seem to get things right.

Superb city Tonks, it would be nice if there is a screenshot region! Just want to make one comment, the birmingsfileds power station - that is how a werehouse should look like.

I knew it wouldn't be long until we started seeing SimGoober's canals in CJ's. Excellent job, Tonks! Looking forward to more updates.
