OK so I was a bit sloooow to catch on to the prtscr thingy ....

But it does get there eventually ......  does the photo size limit apply in this thread - BTW?

I tried posting full size but it was just too freaking big...

Duke you are right about jpegs - the text gets mashed if you resize.

For those of us who may still not quite get it ... ya do this....

minimize everything to desktop

press prtscr next to F12

Open paint - start>accessories>paint

ctrl-V to paste picture.

Save as jpeg or whatever yanks ya chain, gif,bmp,png...

... easiest place to find it later is your desktop - Doh!

upload to photobucket or imageshack ... copy URL to clipboard

open reply window in ST in what ever thread you are replying / posting to...

click the yellow button to the left of the yellow smiley

paste URL - resize in the width / height boxes... blah blah blah ...

click OK

Vola!

Man have I learnt heaps in the last month or so on ST......

This is actually Moose's house in O Canada ....  but I like the shot.

...aparently I am a big fan of his...

abcvs: It's good to know that you figured it out. And the image size applies to the whole forum. 800 x 600 or smaller. Other than providing a link to a bigger image, there are no exceptions I think.

Does this wallpaper make me look like a stalker? (I'm being rhetorical. You don't have to answer that)

You know, desktops, when you are an executive, should be clean.  There is an option to not show any icons, and you wind up with this on your desktop.  The desktop icons can be set to be a menu on your taskbar.

Wow is that picture an MRI shot of your brain? Impressive. Very impressive.quote>

Agreed.

Keeping some icons on the task bar does help clean up the desktop.
