Welcome in River Valley Project

(I am sorry guys but my previous nickname became unusable, so i had to restart my CJ with the new one)

This will be my first CJ where I will try to do an entire region, so I hope it will be a long process. Please be a little patience at time, i will posting as much as possible.

First of all, i would like to thank Big Master Darmok, who inspired me all the time when I opening AVR CJ. It is absolutely amazing work. Second, to all the modders and batters in Simtropolis and many other SC4 developing sites,  who made many beautiful things (plugins) it is now THANK YOU!!!

And third, sorry for my english, it is not my native language, but I will try to writing as good as I can.

---------------

I am using SimCity 4 Deluxe edition with 638 update and many spectacular plugin, such as NAM (which is absolutely amazing work) and so much custom bat and lots that my computer able to handle. (On some photos you can see that i am using hungarian SC4, which is officially not exist in hungarian edition, but me and some other fans translated it.)

Here is the River Valley Region from satellite view

0003rivervalley.jpg

As you can see I will have to work a lot with river bands and costlines in the future. (Terraforming!!!)

The first city will be a small community in the middle of nowhere. They are the pioneers, they will start a small city mostly biulding farms and small houses. A typically rural town.

Please welcome City of New Beginning (handy name 4.gif)

Update 1

0001newbegining.jpg

Look at this beautiful land running through by rivers. Our pioneers sattled down here, and start to build a small town immediately.

First a cole mine which will come handy in the future train project

0002newbegining.jpg

And another one which is ore mine

0003newbegining.jpg

And some streets to it

0004newbegining.jpg

Bridges

00041newbegining.jpg

Mines start to develop

0005newbegining.jpg

That is for now. I will update tomorrow, hope so.

Thank you for your attention, bye for now.

And dont forget every comment are welcomed.

I have a little suggestion though. The CJ would look better of you removed the grid. You can do so by pressing the "G" key while in game.

Fantastic region!  Cities in the middle of nowhere are always fun.  Your english is great btw.  I like the terrain mod (lovely and green) but turn off the grid for pictures - press G, I think that should do it.  Great building, I like seeing how you start the city.  Also love your farms, and the little town, very picturesque.  9.gif

Looks good! I suggest you take pictures when the game isn't paused, so the pause border doesn't show up. Nice farms and forests!

    Hello CJ makers,

Wow, thank you guys, I am amazed with these lots of comments, thank you, thank you!

    Here are the answers:

_marsh_: The mod you look for is Tar Sealed Country Streets mod. I dont use it anymore because there were some problem with it and looked really strange. Instead of I am using SAM (The really cool Street addon Mod). You can download from SC4devotion website, as i know. Thank you for your kind world, I will do my best.

jacqulina: It is really an honour that such a talent CJer put an admire comment into my humble CJ. I am tuched. 43.gif Thank you my friend.

Kodlovag: Another hungarian CJer and put a nice comment into my CJ, what should I say.  "Köszönöm barátom." (Thank you my friend)

Teeparex: I also like those little farms and the rural atmosphere. Thank you for your kind words. I hope you will like the next ones.

BlondeTwiggy: Thanks again your admire comment. I also like small towns, so you can count of them in the future 4.gif.

Leech10: I will take your advise about taking picure when the game is running. But sometimes need to stop the game and taking a shot. Anyway thank you for your suggestion.

6/08 : Excellent update, I like seeing how you work.  Very clean and neat.  I love what you did at the water's edge (for some reason, I can never get my shores to look right).  Oh, and love how you did your trees.  I've been having tree problems as well so I'm looking for inspiration.

6/16 : Wow, I love how you do your farms too!  Surrounded by trees, and a house in the middle.  WOW!!  The second-to-last pic, the overview, is my favorite.  Lol, why is the last one a picture for emos?  3.gif Well, you have inspired me to go play some more, good job.  19.gif

    Hi Guys,

Here I am again, I am back with a brand new city named Timberland as I mentioned before. But first I have to answer for commenters.

    So here are some answer:

nyirog: Hello my friend and thanks the comment. I really appreciate your kind words, without your encourage I never start this CJ. Thank you. (Csinálom ám a magyarítást gözerövel) 9.gif

citybuilder12: Thank you and welcome here in River Valley, I hope you enjoy your stay and foun some really intresting in my work.

builsolid: You are very kind, I do my best in the future, thanks, you are very kind.

BlondeTwiggy: Welcome back in my CJ, In the beginning I had some problem with shorelines and the sides of the agricultural zones. But trees hide every little problems, 4.gif and I found some very good and useable tree forms (thanks to Jeronij, Pegazus, and many more). I just plant them and they grows like a mushroom.

On the last picture there is a lonely place far from everytrhing, and emos like loneliness, that is why i dedicate this last picure for them. Btw it looks good also but now I did some things different. For example, more flora in the costline and different trail for the fisher cabin. Do not forget I did this city and screenshots five months ago, and didnt want to change nothing. You can see how I improve and change my style.

PetrovarAmbassador: Welcome in my CJ and thank for your kind word. I started to count the pictures I uploaded and nearly a hundrid, which is really amazed me too. I think this is the only way how I can show my city detailed. I hope you will stay and enjoy my next city, and comments there too. 4.gif

TmiguelT: Yeah I love those castle pics too, I think the idea was good and I manage pretty well. PEG's pieces just perfect so didnt hard to work with them. I love them too. Thanks for your comment, and don't forget come back any time you want.

And guys mayorbk, Mayorm, A19999999: thank you for your kind words, I hope you will come back and and love what you will find here. Thanks.

Please welcome city of Timberland (another handy name) 9.gif

    STEX Collections

By way of a "Thank You" gift, we'd like to send you our STEX Collector's DVD. It's some of the best buildings, lots, maps and mods collected for you over the years. Check out the STEX Collections for more info.

Each donation helps keep Simtropolis online, open and free!

Thank you for reading and enjoy the site!
