Please note that these will be held similarly to real NatGeo GeoBee conditions. Search engines, encyclopedias, maps, and similar aids are strictly prohibited. Please, NEVER use these if you are going to participate! It is CHEATING and UNFAIR. Please also NEVER give hints/answers to contestants, and do not brag that you knew the answer afterwards. Discussion should be kept to a minimum while the Bee is going. When questions are posed, you will have 48 hours to answer. Post answers in this thread when it is a question directly to you, and PM answers to the Host if the question is to everybody. There will be ONE 24-hour grace period per contestant for every five questions asked. So if you can't make it for one day, you will have a grace period and we will wait the Bee for you. If the grace period expires, your answer will be counted as wrong. If you do not wish to answer and do not wish to use the grace period, post the answer Pass. It will be counted as wrong. I may occasionally be absent for a day or more. You will have to wait for me; I will not post the next day's questions. A Judge will be on site for you to appeal wrong answers to. This should be a person experienced in Geography: he will have access to search engines, encyclopedias, maps, and other aids. Decisions of the judge are final.

Never went to middle school, we don't have to go to it here in Canada, we go from public school to high school. Never had provincial competitons (only math ones), but I smoked the class in competitions all the time.
