    Yeah, that would be a wierd war where only one side fights. I like your CJ so far, can't wait to see more of the great maps.

    Anything I might have seen in Tesco.

    The Foreign Office in Pascifitonia condems the actions of Bostalk. We will put in embargos with Bostalk and we will be stopping any Bostalkian immigrants from entering Pascifitonia.

    I like the concept of the power center. Of course your maps are always nice, but I especially like the one from 9.27 with the new roads plan.

    I can't remember if you've explained it, but only the M-roads are motorways, or are there A- and B-class roads that are motorways as well? (And I use the term motorway, assuming that by letter-prefixing your roads, you are European). Specially, I'm wondering about the contested B4-B5 junction, whether it's a graded interchange or an at-grade intersection?

    (And if you haven't really thought about that... well sorry for bringing it up but my brain immediately starts thinking about things like that... ) 10.gif

    Orean:

    I'm from the UK, so I've used the same road classifications.

    - M is Motorway, equivalent to the Highway in the game.

    - A is an A-Road, known here as a Dual Carriageway, which is the same as an avenue in the game.

    - B is a B-Road, mostly a normal road between large towns. Some have two lanes on one side and only one on another, depending on where the highest volume of traffic travels.

    As for the B4/B5 (and future B13) junction, it went ahead with the removal of 15 homes. Although it is a B road, it is a shortcut from Mililani to Waianae, both are major cities so there are two roads in both direction such as an avenue, although its rural location makes it a B road.

    Hope that explains everything for you. 1.gif

    Right, back onto the road to normality...

    New Ports

    With the increased trade between SCJU member nations, the island has needed to expand it's ports. The largest port will be just off of Karneoloa on the East Shore, close to Egypt and mainland Europe. The port will consist of freight ports, two marinas, ferries and cruise ship ports, to open up European cruises to the island.

    Ladies & Gentlemen, finally, I present to you, the first look at North Shore!
    This update is in two part which explores the small town of Greenville, located deep in the heart of the Green Forest in North Shore. Surrounded by castle walls this town is built within the remains of an old castle and many old taverns have been restored. In the second update we will look at the gateway to the North, the brand new Union International Airport in North Shore.

    <ahttp://www.x2digital.net/cj/NorthShore_Greenville_Welcome.jpg align=baseline border=0>

    Greenville is located in the heart of the Green Forest in North Shore. Just 15 minutes drive
    from the beach, this picturesk village is situated within the restored walls of an old castle.
    Stone Chateaus sit alongside restored middle age taverns and homes and the town attracts
    tourists to the area throughout the year.
    <ahttp://www.x2digital.net/cj/NorthShore_Greenville_Entrance.jpg align=baseline border=0>

    The centre of the town boast no more than the local police station, medical centre and
    three small stores. The majority of people who live in this small town commute to the
    near by town of Burton-on-Sea or even further to Sunset Beach.

    Next update coming up in a minute....

    <ahttp://www.x2digital.net/cj/NorthShore_UnionAirport_Header.jpg align=baseline border=2>

    North Shore Union Airport (ISU) sits to the East of North Shore and is now the main
    airport for the North Shore, Sunset Beach and Karneoloa areas. The image above shows
    an overview of the airport with it's two North/South runways, two East/West runways,
    terminals (to the top left), maintenace hangers (bottom right) and a large apron (where
    aircraft park before boarding) in the centre.

    <ahttp://www.x2digital.net/cj/NorthShore_UnionAirport_Entry.jpg align=baseline border=0>

    The entrance to the airport complex comes from the A7 and enters the complex
    from the North side. When entering the airport by car you pass by the glass terminals
    that are so common throughout the island's airport.

    <ahttp://www.x2digital.net/cj/NorthShore_UnionAirport_TerminalJunction.jpg align=baseline border=0>

    There are three terminals for departures (top terminals) and two terminals (bottom)
    for arrivals. The airport is set to receive high amounts of traffic as previously all
    tourists to North Shore and Sunset Beach went through either Waianae International
    or Kaneone Internation, facing long drives or a train journey to see the area's
    spectacular mountains, lush forests, pristine beaches and world-class resorts.

    <ahttp://www.x2digital.net/cj/NorthShore_UnionAirport_Parking.jpg align=baseline border=0>
    Step outside the terminals and you can find the Airport's extensive parking. Long term
    parking (left) is where those who live near the area can leave their vehicle during their
    stay abroad or in another city. Short term multi-story parking is available for collecting
    or dropping off passengers or parking up whilst heading to ticket offices etc.

    <ahttp://www.x2digital.net/cj/NorthShore_UnionAirport_Maintenance.jpg align=baseline border=0>

    The airport has four runways (two long and two standard) to accomodate all possible air traffic.
    On the far side of the airport are the maintenace hangers where aircraft repairs take place.

    That's it for now. The Island is currently in the run-up to it's National Election
    on October 9th and then the first SCJU summit on October 15th. Hopefully
    I will be bringing you more updates on North Shore and the Island as a
    whole shortly. Please comment and thanks!

    The first newspaper for my CJ. The National Press newspaper is reporting on a recent computing error at a nuclear testing facility in The United Kingdom of Cordovia .
