    Smurfer those Xs make the building that prety much the inspiration. Also this is by no means done its only a couple hours in. I will need to add alot of detailing yet aswell as build its base.

    Heres the last update for tonight. I got back into acad and messed with the base some. Here is a quick render from acad. Also those of you who are good with autocad for some reason when importing to gmax im getting huge amounts of normal problems missing faces everywhere. Ive been trying not to use the mirror comand much on this building as thats usually what has been cuasing missing faces for me in the past but array seems to be giving me the same results. So is there a way to reduce the normal problem?

    Not much was done but this will give you a better idea of the size and you can see the base. Also floors are now in place so you cant see the other braces and windows in the back.

    Well progress is slow but i put a good amoutn of time into the roof and export to gmax today also i have all the night windows specidied. However im getting some terrible normal problems on the windows due to the autcad export. But i have some more eycandy so have a look.

    I was just simply saying that i wont be getting rid of the Xs becuase i really like them and its the key building in seattle that has simialar Xs on the inside that inpired me to make this building.

    Thank you Joerg for clearing that up. It makes sense because the John Hancock building in Chicago has them on the outside and I know I have seen them on the inside of some building too.     Im really liking these earth tones on this building. Anyhow give me some feed back on the textures and such.

    i like it a lot.  i don't think you need to change a thing, unless you want it taller.  it'll be a great addition to my regions.

    Joerg, I don't think you should change anything. The scale looks pretty good.

    Although, you could center the roof pieces on the supports. The pieces I am referring to are the curved lattices you have decorating the roof, I think they look kinda funny off center like that. If you can justify it though, then more power to you.

    Here's my honest opinion Joerg.
     
    I think it is perfect. For the type of building you created the height is right on. The colors are think are just fine, no changes needed (you obviously aren't changing it anymore anyway.)
     
    So yeah, damn good job. Oh and the lighting scheme is perfect as well.

    I have a jornal for the city its fairly new but hasnt stirred up much interest and i havent had much time so its not been updated in a week or so. Check it out though its named Joergon.

    Ok i didnt know where else to ask this but why am i back to lot builder status? I have been mod squad groupie, mod squad, bat sqaud, lot builder squad, and bat squad but now im all the way back to the bottom again.

    Oh and i have been for the last 2 days rendering an update to the the bank of simcity plaza it is brighter bigger and better than before. Anyhow i should have it done rendering tonight. Its going pretty quick now. Its rendering on my other computer whihc is a plain old 1600+ but its making pretty good time. Right now its at about 36 hours half way through zoom 3 and with the model being biggger and my good computer taking 21 hours i would say its doing pretty good.

    I noticed in the comments line of the building download screen, that you were having problems making the Blue Rock growable.
     
    I just tried it, and had no problems. I don't know why it is doing that to you, but it works for me. I had to build it on a CO$$$ 4x4 lot, but it works.
     
    Toroca posted a comment that said he got it to work as well. So if you want Toroca or myself to make some growable versions for you, let either one of us know.
     
    The building looks superb in the game.
