Great city. But only problem is too much Maxis buildings. It makes the custom content scare. (a few of them.)

Very nice update. The night shots turned out well. I like the ponds and lakes in your neighborhoods.

nottheboss- Hi again! Thanks for the comment. As for anything interactive, I think it probably won't happen this time around. It was pretty time consuming and at times frustrating when I first tried it.

    ComputerGuy890100- Thanks! 9.gif

De Ja Vu- To make the nighttime pic, I fiddled about with the sharpen tool, brightness, (I think) contrast as well. Thanks for the comment 44.gif

selles- Thanks very much selles! Appreciated. 1.gif

    danielcote- Thanks!

    buildsolid- Thanks!

Evillions- Thanks. I'm always trying to include as much CC as possible!

Great looking airport! I really like the greenspace in and around the runways. Reminds me of my hometown, we have a big park that extends across the street from the runways, and the planes fly overhead... seems like you could just reach up and touch them. It's a nice design so that no one has to live below that busy airspace! I like the amount of high-tech industry you have in this area too.

And of course, I can't help but comment on the amount of parks you have. I love all the green, it looks really good. On top of that, you have that ability to make great looking parks. The sprawl fits in really nicely too, I love how open everything is. There's no need to have everything tightly bunched together!

WOAH! Awesome park! Looks exactly like a place I could go and spend the afternoon at. That "night view" actually looks really realistic. I love how you put so much time into making everything just overall look good, like the marinas, nice touch. Best of all, those suburbs, intertwined with all the park trails and streams...the usage of the ingame buildings makes everything look much more natural...nice work.

Airport update: Excellent! I never know where I'm going with airports but you seem to know your way around pretty well.

Only one problem that you seem to have already corrected: for some (not all) of the pictures featuring PEG streams, a base texture may be missing...other than that I can't see any flaws whatsoever!

This is truly a great cj...great going! 44.gif

EDIT: btw love your avatar...I'm from Minneapolis!

Great airport! The surrounding area seems to be surprisingly wealthy considering its proximity to the airport.

selles- Thanks! It was quite a challenge making my first international style airport.

IDS2- Thanks for all your nice comments 9.gif. I have realised that missing texture thing before, it always happens just after you save the game. A similar kind of thing happens with the ploppable beaches 21.gif.

Evillions- Haha! Well, it takes quite a long time to get everything right with airports, but a very useful tool would be either Google maps or, even better, Google Earth, and have a good look at real life airports to see how they are built and layed out.

    Keep-Up- Thanks!

edmonton_stinks- Thanks! Everybodys wealthy in Parkopolis, it's like the law 3.gif (I know, it's not the most realistic city ever)

tepodon- Thanks. Ahh, I can't remember exactly which download included the fences, but they came with the same download that has the rest of the airport grass that I used.

nottheboss- Lol yeah, the last airport was a bit of a mess, didn't really know much about what I was doing! Thanks though.

    Muck308- Thanks!

    Update 5

For this update I will show the new 'up-uptown' area several miles from the city's downtown core, the biggest area of park in Parkopolis, which has taken over the downtown island one, and a few wealthy suburbs near these two.

    First I'll show the up-uptown:

Looking really good! I like the uptown area, very modern buildings. I like how you made that office complex of those 3 red buildings with the plaza in the middle. I also really like your pathway system. I'd love to put on my rollerblades and enjoy an afternoon around your parks.

Wow, amazing update! The towers in the business district aren't too repetitive and well chosen, and the mansiony neighbourhood is very cohesive. I like how it's all R$$$ in one place as opposed to mansions next to rickety shacks or even R$$ houses. That said, the R$$ neighbourhood is also great.
