  craig-abcvs:  Hi there again guys!   Just a little bit of house keeping here...  this thread has morphed from a couple of different things...  (ahem...  yes right...  moving along)  ...but we better actually put some guidelines in place, let we anger the bunnies... which of course is not entirely desirable.

For some time now several of our members in various threads and forums on ST...   (notabily the CJ forum) have used talking avatar heads in their CJs and other posts.    Of course the most famous talking heads on Simtropolis would be the twins, better known as Brad and Brian.   This has led to others developing talking avatar heads of their own.

So from here on, let this thread be a place where the various talking avatar heads of Simtropolis, from which ever part of the site they come from can meet to discuss, well whatever they need to discuss.   It may be something related to things that are going on in the CJ forum, or over in Community Goings On in the Chess Thread... or well whatever.

However we need to at least try and keep to some kind of topic...  and while role playing and making up stories is of course a large part of things, we do need to make sure that it does not get totally out of hand...  again lest the bunnies smite us with 'extreme prejudice'.

If you don't have a talking avatar head yet,  you can of course still post in this thread, but hey...  talking heads are fun, so off you go...  go and get some of your own!

Of course, I am kinda making all this up as I go along, and we may need to tweak things further, but in the meantime...  please let the heads do the talking!

Yesterday (Monday morning) got off to a bad start because I forgot about an inservice session that I was supposed to be teaching, and made myself look silly.   This made me grumpy.

I then did what I always do when I need to zone out of the real world for a bit - I took a look in Schulmania...

Sure enough there was Brad and Brian with their usual commentary so I decided to 'borrow' them and 'invited' them to make a reply in one of my own posts.

I then got this crazy idea that I could sig-napp them for a bit and have some fun.

Initially I forgot about the signature rules and simply pasted the avatars into my sig as is...

Of course at 57 pixels high that is too big...   and I was simulaneously 'reminded' by one or three of my colleauges that I was in 'non-compliance' of rule 16b.  Fair enough.

I resized the avatars using the image resizer...  knowing full well that it would probably make the images more 'noisy'...   Haljackey then posted some properly resized images, but unfortunately this did not address the 'noise' issue.  

There were also some other unexpected issues, which then resulted in B&B having to be 'separated'...   however this has only had the effect of making them louder because now they are shouting at each other across my signature.

Leech has been quite cheerful about the whole sordid affair, and gleefully told me that they snore something awful.

They do and they did.

And then when they are awake they never stop talking.

I mean really...    what is a guy supposed to do?
