I guess in the future, the 22nd Amendment (Presidential term limits) is overturned by Chancellor Obama and his Imperial Congress...may Almighty Barack be hailed as the messiah!

    Cockatoo-210893 - Thanks!

Raysfan16 - Thanks, the garbage things are from SimPeg. I don't know where to find those tanks, they're called 'Pollution Reducers' and I think they're from Nexis.

    jon7985 - No....

    knarfmo - Thanks!

    Benedict - Thanks!

A.Aperson - Yes, Hilary would be old, but still in office...and no, Lord Barry died.

    ironicepitome - Bush County...maybe...

elemented9 - Yep. The islands are seperated by an abyss...

    simsamerica - Lol..

packersfan - Thanks and actually, Obama had the planet named after him on his 5th inaguration...the astronomers named it after him.

chrissc94 - Yes, you are correct.

    Chapter III: Brady's Voyage

As many tried to explore Obama County's interior, many were unsuccessful. Only one man would be successful in establishing the first-ever colony on the mainland. His name was...Thomas P. Brady. A short section of a McNeil Island history book (published in 2030) on him is shown below:

    brady_history.png

He set off on his boat (a fishing boat borrowed from his fishing company), one day after President Obama left. The boat is below:

    chpt3_bradys_boat.jpg

He first sailed out to the delta of the first river, the Biden. Here's a picture of the area:

    chpt3_biden_delta.jpg

Brady's first camp was at a place called Wahkiakum around Jefferson Bend. Here's a look at the new colony established there:

    chpt3_wahkiakum.jpg

More to come soon! Will Brady die trying to climb Mount Obama? What will he do when he returns? Stay tuned for more Obama County.

I have been meaning to read this for a few days... well I finally have. Very clever, ComputerGuy. I wonder how it will go down...

Anyway, I still must comment on the SC4 aspect. It is a nice collection of islands. I love to see a lot of water incorporated into cities.

Thomas Brady came back to Wahkiakum, he had saw that his brother, Lewis Brady, had nearly set up the ultimate city with everything, including...a NEWSPAPER? Yes! A newspaper! Here's a look at city (still under construction):

    wahkiakum_underconstruction.jpg

    Chapter IV.V: Blog?

With my computer starting to show signs of a virus, I created a CJ blog for Obama County. It will show the Wahkiakum Herald there too.

May I kindly suggest that in one of your bigger cities, you create some sort of 'monument'?

A roundabout with, out of everything, the 'O' campaign logo. I've tried it myself, but I couldn't due to the lack of red, white, and blue flowerbeds, and a humongous roundabout.

I'm definitely not an Obama fan, but what you're doing is very creative and I applaud you, unlike the other people in here...

Your region looks great. I really like how you terraformed the islands. I especially like Presidential Isle and Marina Island. They look really good!

As a proud Republican, I would have bypassed this CJ just based on the title. But something deep in me said "loooook, loooook". So I did, and was pleasantly surprised. I wish you the best of luck.

I kind of like how you did this. The irrational belief of some of the voters that Obama is Deity like and can solve all our problems and create a pristine utopia is laughable, and you capture it in this CJ. You don't come off as to be supporting or not supporting anyone, and overall your actual CJ is very, very nice.

Politics aside, the difference, the uniqueness of this CJ is what I believe keeps me interested. So I will definitely be checking back.

Something inside me says something is missing from this CJ...

...I don't know what but perhaps it needs more custom content, or perhaps more parkland, and Washingtonian puns? face-icon-small-tongue.gif

some of the buildings don't match with the backround. You normally don't see a huge tall building right front of a large plain landscape. If this is a highway surrounded by trees. Then yes it would match. Other than that, it doesn't match. Try using these CJs for example:

If these doesn't work to your taste, stick to yours.
