Ok folks, you asked for it and I got it for you, putting my own life in danger, but I don't what it is though. We just have to wait and see what the Ganoga Update will bring us later.

This is all that I can do for you, I risked my life getting these pics, so you make sure that you don't show that to everyone and start stupid and unreal rumours, ya hear?

This page will hopefully autodestruct one day.

I am not able to explain what this is, but the water gets kinda red once a week around here. There are many underwater tunnels around here, some office bldgs and a lot of piping and pumping in and out and so what, and access is very restricted. I got this picture in a hurry and it is only a very small part of the whole thing.

    17BarelakeExperimentalInstitution.jpg

Now here's a picture of the entrance gate of this so called mysterious place. It seems like it is protected by the army as much as I have seen sofar. One needs a special pass to get by here and I dont have that yet.

The whole valley is controlled and out of reach of the public. I was lucky to get so far. Now I hve to leave.

    18BarelakeGate.jpg

That's all I can do for the Ganoga Valley Teasers.

I will be back tomorrow or on Saturday at the latest with the first Part of the Gloryville update.

Finally, here it is, the first part of the Gloryville update and what a big part it is. Thanks for all the interest and comment, one of you is a little closer than most of you to the mystery of Ganoga, but actually only a little.........

    Gloryville...........The Endpart 11
    Part A.........Bolton and South Axis.__________________

The first picture below is what the Gloryville area looked like some 60 years ago, about the time that we had left it then. Already then the talks were to unite Tenzel Outlet with the Capitol City. Axis South was still independant and under the gouverning of the Cinematic Producer Mr Rico Az. Skinner county was largely underdevelopped and White Sands barely existed. This is to awaken your memory, because this is where I took the big break.

    1GenesisIV60YearsAgo.jpg

This is the same area today, now merged with several other municipalities, such as Tenzel Outlet, Atlas, Bolton ,Three Towers, White Sands, Oxalis/Megantic, Axis South and Skinner county. Gloryville lost its title of the Genesis Capitol some years ago, when New Saphir was voted for, a brand new and very modern City out west with many possibilities for a better future, as they said. Today we will talk about Axis South and Bolton, both encircled in yellow on the picture below.

    2GenesisIV-Gloryville.jpg

And here is a retro-picture, some 125 years ago, when every municipality were still towns.

    3GloryvRegionRetro.jpg

39 years ago today, a general Meeting of all the Mayors, Gouvernors, big enterprise owners and Rulers was held on the public plaza in Gloryville's downtown. It was decided here and then that New Saphir became the new Capitol City of Genesis. It was a year later that the plaza was destroyed and built over and that the Genesis Administration Office was moved and that Gloryville became just a regular Metropolis, the fourth in population and second in size with 2.4 Million habitants. That changed nothing really to its economy.

    4Ensemble.jpg

Today we will talk about two of our City's subcities, Axis South and Bolton, the Part *A* of the Gloryville update. We will continue the following parts in the next few weeks . There will be five updates of Gloryville in all, which are in the followinfg order :

    1. Axis South and Bolton (former city and University)
    2. Oxalis Megantic and Tenzel Outlet (the Las Vegas of Genesis and the old harbour)
    3. Atlas,Skinner and Three Towers (the army base, the rich folk's county and a divided town)
    4. White Sands (the  International Airport)
    5. Gloryville's Downtown itself (the beginning of Genesis)

Axis South, right after the death of the famous,  loved and generous Mayor Mr Rico Az, fell into the hands of a no good Bum. The new Mayor raised taxes and implied useless municipal laws that many didn't enjoy, especially the producing factory owners. Because of one of his laws, a big manufacturing Company lost everything they had during fire caused directly by the storage laws of that bummy Mayor. It didn't take long that he was pursuited for the Millions of loss and a major voting of the population teared him from the Mayor seat, when public transportation reached the triple cost than in any other City. This is when Chad Benson's wife Rachel Benson became the new Mayor of Axis South. Being a mother of four (Drake,Josh,Brittney and Leah) it wasn't easy for her, but with her husband's help (Chad Benson) it became a challenge to bring the city back on its legs and Axis South was on the rise just like in the Rico Az's time a short time after.
Axis South became a part of Gloryville only some 14 years ago, when Mrs Benson retreated for retirement. She died 3 years ago from a new kind of cancer, never seen before. It was then that her and her husband's name were respectfully engraved on the City Hall's entrance floor for eternity.
That fire is still remembered today. It changed the history of Axis South.

    5AxisSouthFire.jpg

As we know Axis South was divided into two, everything north of the Tenzel River today belongs to Axis City, and everything south became Gloryville's. The river is the limit. On the picture below you see the abandonned harbour that it once had many years ago, a dream that Mrs Benson had, but never really got developped. Today people come to relax and enjoy the sight over the river.

    6AxisSouth-river.jpg

Enrobed by some Skyscrapers, the City Hall was well preserved and was only lately completely renovated to last at least another century of its existance. Here the names of  Oriole, the founder of Axis South, Rico Az, Mrs Rachel Benson and Chad Benson are engraved in the marble floor at the main entrance. Chad Benson is still alive and well today with his some eighty plus years on his back. He lives in many places, but mostly on Bolton Hill, a quieter place among good friends. Although Axis South once was one of the bigger cities on Genesis, it didn't change much since the absortion to Gloryville. But downtown offices such as the Rilian Waterworks, the Main Office of Hawklyn Valley Food Products, R.I.C.O. TV and Radio Wallace Sporting Goods Central Office , just to mention a few still exist and are thriving well. This is something like a second downtown of Gloryville today.

    7AxisSouth-Rathaus.jpg

When Mr Sven 's son invested into Appartments, his first creation were the S-Living Appartments in Axis South. It was because of the compact but still liberal way of appartment living that he liked this style. It was a plan that Mr Sven Senior himself designed many years ago when he was still very young and just left the amazing architecture in one of his drawers for many decennies. Sven's son kinda liked them and starting realizing them with the help of Daniel Henderson, one of the better architects of Genesis. Now these buildings are unique to Axis South for now, but probably will soon be repeated in Nexis City since they were officially approved by the Genesis Administration Office to be perfectly environmental safe and ingeniously practical . Thousands of families can co-habit without annoying their neighbors.

    8AxisSouth-SLive.jpg

A close up of the former harbour. It had a story to it that some older folks still talk about today in Bistros and Bars. It was the time when parties still were publically allowed on Genesis, but times have changed, so did some of the laws and today the only way to party in closed municipalities is at special places only. To drink alcohol in the City publically is strongly forbidden.
This was the time when folks partying threw their empty beer bottles over the river from both sides and the one who reached the other side first was named the King of the River for that night. It was some kind of a competition between the north and south dwellers and it continued for many years. This lasted until one day an important waterpipe that travels from north to south on the rive rbottom had to be renewed and it was very difficult to find it under millions of empty beerbottles. That was reported to the Environmental Department and a new law prohibited the partying under the open skies in a closed municipality. If you want to party under the natural skies one has to leave the cities and towns and go the country on private lands. Today the bottles are still there making nice little nests for the riverminnows.

    9AxisSouth-harbor.jpg

Bolton used to be a smaller neighbor of the former Capitol of Genesis, but when the university, the first in the region was built, Gloryville got more and more interested in owning this county also. Second to join the Capitol city right after Tenzel Outlet, Bolton became one big center for Genesis' educational systems with the first University to present itself on Genesis.
Physically Bolton is the continuation of the western part of Gloryville with the Bolton hill starting directly in downtown of the former Capitol. Also Bolton is divided in two by the hill, which gains in altitude going westward. Today the hill is considered as a natural Sanction and since 25 years construction of any kind is prohibited, just like the beginning of this hill in the downtown area of Gloryville itself. The hill becomes the Smurfer Mountain in the township of Smurfmind, west of Bolton.

    10Boltonview.jpg

Here's a Retro-Picture of the same county, showing us clearly the western flow of the hillchain that starts in Gloryville and ends in Smurfmind.
When the first Highway was built, most of the region wasn't even discovered yet. But Highway One was very important in Genesis's development and economy, putting the northern and southern neighbor regions together with Genesis IV. Right after its construction, the face of Genesis changed forever.

    11BoltonviewRetro.jpg

Living in Bolton is a charm for many Gloryville citizens. First it is only 20 minutes away from the Downtown area and 45 minutes from the international Airport in White Sands. With Highway 1 running right through Bolton, makes it even better access to the south, north and west. Many buissness folks have a home, house, appartment or duplex here in Bolton which is very close to the nature of the hill and the calm of it. Although taxes are slightly higher here than the neighbors such as Skinner and Atlas, but like they have their slogan here that says: *Better living in Bolton than in the next best City*.
Since residential demand was so high at a moment, many folks have invested in Appartments and Duplexes. People such as Mr Sven Jr of course and also some of the Nexis family members, Mr Timotheus, Nick Ranly and many others. Building in Bolton always pays off.

    12BoltonRes2.jpg

It's the Holmes Security Office and the Bolton University and College that made it so well known. Now completely rebuilt after a heavy fire 32 years ago, the Bolton University is the biggest and best yet on Genesis. The only thing it is missing is room to expand. Highly financially supported by the Nexis Family and today also by the Sirius Group, the University is going underground in the near future to compensate for the missing space that they need to enlarge their capacities. Most every of our celebrities have been at one time gone through these classes. Vallen Nexis is the founder of the University and Allan Sapporo is the founder of the Royal Gloryville Symphony Orchestra , which is based here in this University, where Allan himself had studied for many years the sounds of melodies. Other famous students of Bolton's educational domain are and were: Mr Timotheus, Daniel Henderson, Chad Benson, Henry Zeddicton, Miss Kitty Kat, Dr Evel, Mr Vatt and the kids of Mr Adley Hawklyn, only to mention a few.

    13BoltonUniView.jpg

Here is a closer look of the Center of the Bolton University, including the all new bronze statue of Mr Allan Sapporo, the founder of the greatest orchestra on Genesis. Because of his goal to enlighten the cultural life of Genesis, his generosity towards the general public and love for music, he was granted this statue last year, after he re-composed the National Anthem for Genesis. Here Mr Sapporo studied for may years and after he became a teacher of music and a composer later. But we will get to him in more specific details later on in this update.
The University has been put in several shameful situations with the new University of Saphir becoming bigger and bigger each year, but all this until now has been proven to be bad rumours only to slow down the popularity of Bolton.

    14BoltonUniClose.jpg

Bolton Hill once was the dream of every rich man to have his/her mansion built there, but before the dreams caught up with reality, the hill was put under the Natural Protection Act (NPA) and building anything was stopped. Only the luckyones that already had their mansions on top of the hill have the continous privilege to live there.
The folks that live here today are:
-Mr Timotheus who has bought the former Brett mansion to spend his weekends (he actually lives in a Gloryville downtown Penthouse).
-Allan Sapporo, who bought the home of the former President of the National Banks of Genesis, but then the mansion burnt down just before he moved in and Mr Sapporo had his dreamhouse built by the RHF Corporation.
-Yoni Nexis , the greatgrand daughter of Vallen Nexis, now owning the Nexis Bridge Construction Company.
-Chad Benson of course lives here, as most people on Genesis know by now. Being one of the richest men alive on Genesis, he of course has a Mansion that comes with the wealth and situated on the highest spot available. How the CEO of the Benson Industries and Benson Aircraft International was able to build his mansion here way after the laws prohibited it, is still a mystery to most of us. Most folks think it was a matter of money for the Natural Protection Agency or/and the City. We will never know for real. Mr Benson is known for many things, good and bad, but we get to his detailed life at the Gloryville Downtown part update.
-Thom Yorke, the founder and owner of the RHF Corporation in Gloryville had until his death only a few ago his home on the Boltonhill also. Today it is his widow who still lives here. They never had any children. Mr Yorke was known as the specialist of Hi-Rise Constructions, commercial and residential. He was the one that has built most of the Skyscrapers in New Saphir, making millions and millions. His company was sold to the Siruis Group when he died. His wife, living today alone at 76 years in this mansion, except her servants, owns most of the land in 5 different counties, Rooster, Belding, Bury's Pass, Horseshue and Cashmere with some 14,000 ha of forests. Where will this go to when she passes away, a lot of people ask that question. Mr Yorke's passion was collecting wooded landlots by the way.
-Daniel Henderson, owner of the Hendo Productions has his weekend home here on the hill. He actually lives in Grand Dam City as we have already seen and talked about in an earlier update.
-And the last, but also the first one to arrive on top of this mountain was the very famous Sherlock Holmes, the founder of the Genesis Security Office, which has become today the Regional Police. Today it is his grandson and his wife who enjoys the living in this quiet and beautiful natural habitat.

    15Bolton-Mountain.jpg

Here's a real close up of these beautiful mansions that have a complete view over the city of Gloryville and its bay. Also we see the new home of Allan Sapporo. Let's  talk a bit about him now. After intense schooling lasting many years, he went to the Gloryville college and passed on to the Bolton University when he decided to become the Director of an orchestra. What he didn't know at this time were his talents to write music and symphonies and his talent to become the greatest Maestro of all times. He founded the Royal Gloryville Symphony Orchestra some 35 years ago and still directs it today once in awhile with his 86 years of age. Although Mr Sapporo was considered as the quiet type by many of his friends, he came a long way through musical history and is being a part of today's studies in the Bolton University where he spent 17 years as a simple music teacher after his first concert in Tenzel Outlet 57 years ago. He was at that time the youngest Orchestra Director ever being applauded to.
Allan loves the harmony of nature which brought him all these ideas, compositions and melodies that are heard all over Genesis and Uru nowadays. So he has this place somewhere out there in the Genesis region where he disappears to sometimes, but no one knows exactly where that is. They say that it is beautiful and someone even claimed that he saw pictures of this marvelous domain. Maybe by searching I will find his retreat some day.
His first contract was a party that Vallen Nexis once gave at his place on top of the Nexis Mountain in Nexis City when he was 18 years old and playing in a simple small band and ever since then he wanted a place like this, on top of a hill, just like the old man Nexis. That is one reason that he bought this place here on top of the Bolton Hill.
He lives with his wife Julia Cowan both on Bolton Hill and in a downtown appartment in Gloryville near the plaisance harbour, where he has his yacht that he uses whenever the sea gets quiet. He and his wife gave birth to three children, all adults today of course and havimg raised their own kids, two boys and one girl. The girl  (39) is today the President of the Natural Protection Agency, the older boy (46) lives in New Saphir and is implicated in political matters with gouverning the new Capitol City, and the younger boy (44) is teaching music in the Bolton University, just like his father in the past. Mr Sapporo has written many melodies about the beauty of Genesis which are apart of Genesis's culture today.

    16Bolton-MansionsClose.jpg

Ok, that's it.............hope you enjoyed this part and had enough for the week, I had enough to write, create and upload all this ......lol
The next update will be in a week or so and it will be about Tenzel Outlet and Oxalis/Megantic, both being part of Gloryville today also.

Have a nice weekend, and yes I will be back this weekend with another teaser from the mysterious Ganoga Valley as promissed earlier.

Well, nice sig, Nexis is truly one of the longest lasting CJ's here in Simtrop! I love the Bolton University and the Mansions in Bolton Hills are amazing and you used the new boulders. one question. why is Yoni Nexis living in a cottage or cabin of some sort? well, can't wait for the Oxalis Megantic and Tenzel update!

Ok now, there will be continious updates of all the participant's characters until the end, including Nick Ranly (Leech10) and his kids, even those that we have already talked about in details. Plus there will be a last update of ALL the characters who appeared in the CJ from the beginning, fictious and the participating members of Simtropolis. They all will be detailed into kind of a finishing page, even those who appeared only once or a few times. (ex:  Waldo Fellow and Jasen Howell) And after that there will be the endword or finale. But don't forget, we still have a long road to travel before we get there with all the updates remaining.

superchad, glad you enjoy your character.

    timotheus4, thanks for dropping in.

jacqulina, always great to see you around, and yes, it was a lot of work that Gloryville part A update.

Charles, yes I changed my sig when I realized that I have closed the two other CJ's of mine, Lavender and Norland, quite a while back. I was slow on realizing, but heck....I hardly look at my sig......lol. The new Bolders are just great, so are the rocks, dead pines and rocks.

Yoni Nexis lives in this little shack because she loves simple dwellings, besides we will get to her in more details (even a picture of her) late in some other update. She also lives in a penthouse (the most expensive) in Nexis City.

Talking about pictures (Portraits) of our characters. I was going to keep this a secret, but  finally decided to reveil it anyways, because there will be other impressive surprizes at the end.

I will at the end (Final character update) show a picture (portrait ) of EVERY character in this CJ that I created with the The Sims 2 program, something like a thank you gift for participating. I started working on this project some months ago, and it was and still is a lot of work since all of them are individually created by myself with the TS2BodyShop. There are some 65 characters .

Here's a last view (teaser) of the Ganoga Valley........3.gif

    barelaketeaser6rg0.jpg

    Have a nice weekend now.

    mrb........2.gif

EDIT: Did you see the road in the last picture (top left) Imagine that part in the winter going down......Yoohooooooooooo!! 31.gif46.gif........41.gifJust an idea.

Thanks sloppet, jacqulina, cowcorn, leech10 and infinitum19 for the comments.

BTW, here's a clue (maybe) for the Ganoga Valley Mystery for those who have been here from the beginning................

Right there where the strange underwaterbuildings are, it all started. I mean the whole region started with exactly this spot. It was the first appearance of land on Genesis some millions of years ago and the mountain chain in the north are the first solid grounds surrounded by the immense sea that once ruled the planet. Maybe it's got something to do with that?........

    Just an idea though........
