Hmmmm,
Interesting buildings mrbison, not sure if they are familiar or not.   Especially the one with the wierd roof structure on the right.    Have a safe trip.    I hope you are hunting for food and not just trophies.     I personnally love cariboo (sp) but I think I only had moose once when I was really young.

OMG!!! Ok here's my little story... So I've been playing SC4 for a few years, never downloaded anything, my computer then could barely run it. About 3 weeks ago I got a new computer, and bought the SC4RH Deluxe, because I new my new computer could handle it. Figured I would check out if there was any big following online for SC4, Low-and-Behold I find www.simcity.com and from there www.simtopolis.com. I started trolling the BBS (forums) and boy i have been out of it for a while. LOL. So anyway, I was looking at the lots and BAT's and the majority of the ones I liked were from this Nexis of Genesis or mrbisonm, so after some research and hearing about these CJ's (having no clue what a CJ is) I discover the City Journals, so I search Nexis... Hey Nexis of genesis City Journal!!! So to cut to the chase, I started reading your Journal from the beginning, discovered it was (hard to put down) like a good book. This was about a week ago, reading about 1-3hrs a day, I have finally caught up and I am very pleased to say... WOW!!

P.S. I can think of few many words to say, and I'm usually a pretty eloquent guy.

Just a post from a passing lurker...

...passing?  you've worn a path through here...

...uhh, right.  Well, incredible stuff as always, Fred.

btw, is hunting like fishing?  I mean, just an excuse to hang out, talk about manly stuff, and drink beer?

Just thought I'd ask.

David

I am back from the Moosehunting trip and this year without success. That happens once in awhile, but we had a nice time though, saw a lot of caribou, bears and other nice things in nature. Very beautiful up in NFL (New Foundland) by the way this time of year.

Thanks for dropping a line again jacqulina, aleking, bat, Rayden, hyped_up_boy, Leech10, superchad, Goin2Chicago, hamsterTK and Menotyou. Always nice to hear from you all.
Gaston, some of the buildings are japanese residentials and the one with the strange roof is a Nexis BAT, not yet available on the STEX. Btw the way, I hunt for the need of satifying my hunting instinct every year and mostly for the meat, because at home we ONLY eat wild meat and my own raised beef and porc. A trophy once in awhile for me is like a Bonus only.I don't run after them. And I do not hunt what I don't eat, such as Bears and other predators as bigcats and wolves. 2.gif
Lucky01101, welcome to NoG (Nexis of Genesis) and I am glad that you like it. Stay around and make yourself feel at home here. Also glad that you like the Nexis lots and BATs, more will be coming to the STEX later this winter.
Nice to see you here again dedgren (David) and yes, fishing is like hunting sometimes, but for us ( my hunting and fishing partners and I), going on a hunting trip like this is mostly to get away from reality, relax and be without the people we see everyday for a few days and to appreciate them more when we get back home. I don't drink much, but....well, it happens on a hunting or fishing trip that we have a little more than usual.....lol, but mostly we hunt for real. Make sure you come back, I will be using some of your BATs soon.

I did not really had time to finish the Gloryville update, but I will do it as soon as possible and not later than next weekend we will see the first of many parts of Gloryville. Today I decided to show you some Teaserpics from the Mysterious Ganoga Valley (coming up soon also), while waiting.

Since most of the Ganoga region does not give access to the general public, no one really knows what's going on in this deepwooded part of the valley. Pictures are hard to get and one has to pay high prices to get at least some photographs from there and most of them aren't clear of what they show.

This seems like a weekend resort, but for who?

    BarelakeTeaser1.jpg

A sattelite image does not reveil much either, but definitively there's something there,it looks like that it is built on top of the water, but what and by whose orders?

    BarelakeTeaser2.jpg

Some rumours say that the water gets red sometimes in the valley and only a few scientists have access to the Barelake Sources County. What are they doing? I also heard that Mr Timotheus, Mr Chad Benson and Mr Nick Ranly are coming here once every month or so, but is it for pleasure or business?

    BarelakeTeaser3.jpg

I guess we all have to wait for the Ganoga Valley Update to learn these secrets, coming up in the weeks to come.

Have a nice week and thanks for leaving a word or two.

Yoman3, yes that is the question, what's making the water red in these parts of Ganoga? I wish I knew also.

Hey thanks for dropping a comment, Gridlock, Menotyou, superchad, Schulmanator.

sorchin, I love these new mods from jeronij, especially the clouds also.

Charles Rodulfo, of course we will have a look at Gloryville's update first, but it will take some time, since this will be in many parts. It is so big and so much to tell. Btw I don't like canned food (lol), deer season is open right now 'til december.3.gif

jacqulina, voila especially for you, here's a better picture of the valley hidden mystery. I was able to get a better shot with special filters of these buildings on water. All the others ,please don't look at this..........

    Barelaketeaser5.jpg

    I'll be back soon.....

Take care and congradulations on reaching 108 pages (nearly). That's quite an accomplishment..44.gif

Nice to see the best CJ on Simtropolis still going strong. You always manage to weave a great story mrbisonm.

I think that the valley is McDonalds secret testing plant, and they are creating a new low-fat burger! 9.gif
