that's an interesting concept as a start. you'd have to develop further the design and structural elements. but I like the idea of creating a huge archo style structure for SimMars. Maybe 8km is a bit too large in terms of actually modelling it and using it in the game).

There are some really good designs here and I may actually create some once I am finished with my  researching how to create BAT's. Anyway maybe do a Mars version of Antarctica outpost 0-3.

I was watching the Ultraman Saga movie last night and captured this image it was a colony planet similar to mars. A complex like this if made on a mega lot would be a nice College or Landmark lot, just an idea.

I was updating my SC4 content last night and found alot of new god mode animated wildlife at the LEX. Just a wild idea but maybe we could get the JENXFAUNA group to bio-engineer a few Targs or Bantas or maybe something with 6 legs to exist on an alien planet just to add an optional twist to the game. Could be interesting, with terraforming and bio-engineering a new world mistakes are bound to happen somewhere.

They were created by xannepan, I sent a pm asking if he could create something special if anybody should care.

My brother was in the arctic circle doing work for nasa a few yrs ago and said they built house there with a big truck that drilled holes into the ice and dropped telephone poles into the hole then filled the hole with water. Then they built the house on top and wrapped the poles with fence to keep dogs safe from bears. Maybe we could get some houses built on stilts to be ploped on the ice at shoreline in SimMars, could maybe mod a lighthouse into something like that. Like I said before I don't know how to BAT yet but have plenty of ideas to plant and spring is coming.

Specific buildings for the Mars ice are a cool idea. Didnt even think about this possibilty.

There are no aliens on Mars.

I think that the current utilitarian style for Mars is good for low wealth low density when we first come to mars we will live in cramped pressurized units. But I think that in later stages of development the architecture will evolve beyond utilitarianism. I propose for high density and public buildings to be quite spacious indeed and they should look somewhat like this
