Ok I think I figured it out...I didn't have graph paper so I did it on normal paper. This is an ice port... It is the same thing as the seaport but with a different name and design. It's best to zoom in to see what is written... I have very bad hand writing... I can't BAT so I was hoping someone else would.

I could Bat it for you, except that there are a few things. I would reduce the size of the windows, and I will add a huge lookout tower, so we could say it's the base 4.gif

Overall great sketch. 5.gif

Thank you very much...I have 5 more sketches, but I won't post them all at once.

This next one is a High-Wealth Commercial Office called Red & Blue Shipping Co. It's a 4x4 CO$$$ with 518 jobs.

You should post them all at once...I find it easier than scavenging through 5 posts 29.gif

Ummm...Ok then. First is the Bubble Mansion(Cylinder Bubble) It's a cylinder shaped bubble made of super strong plastic that's nearly impossible to see through, there's a vent on top,and inside the bubble you can barely see this weird tower looking thing...Next is my first sketch the Giza Appartments... They're pyramid shaped buildings made of glass and metal. It may look like it's made of bricks but those are windows and the lines just separate them. The middle pyramid is a reddish-orange color, the medium sized one is orange, and the small one is a yellowish-orange color...Next is a replacement for the water tower called the Ice Melting Facility; it has the same stats as the water tower, and it obviously supplies water... Finally there is the Sublimation and Deposition power plant.( In honor of my science teacher who is fighting with cancer...). This power plant is the same thing as the wing power plant but instead of using wind it uses carbon in it's gas state then deposites it into a solid and then lets it sublime into a gas again, the gas and the solid spin fans and gears inside which produces energy.

All of my writing is hard to see so you might have to zoom in to read it...

And they all need props like greenhouses, antennae, etc added to them.

Have a little flip through the ST Omnibus. They have everything...the one I like most is a tutorial called "BAT Essentials". It may be more earth-like, but it should be a big help.

And if I do BAT the Ice Port, I will post it in the...um...

...

...

...

...huh, good question...

Either the BAT Workshop or the Transit Network Workshop.

Hi,

for some reason Im not able to upload any pictures of what i made (sketched) but well i thought i might just explain untill i get the pictures working.

It basically a Power plant which i call "Oxygen Plant". What happens is that the plant is constructed on Mar's polar Ice (or in our case just on some random ice 9.gif ) and this plant serves a bunch of functions.

Firstly The Ice is drill and melt with use of what i call "Diamond Lens" which is basically a dome made of hexagon shaped glass which melts the ice at several positions. The Ice, containing Hydrogen and Oxygen, can supply both water, use the oxygen for the colony's air supply (or in game mechanics shape reduce air pollution?) and the hydrogen can also be used as a "Hydrogen Power Plant". lastly, it "could" boil the water with the same lens and vaporize it into steam to turn turbines for some old school style of electricity generation.

This is more like a very high tech all in one utility centre, except that fact that it doesn't manage waste.

I will try to get a proper Sketch/Model going so i can post it in the BAT section.

P.S is simmars still on? since i see the posts made in the last years are all ignored?

-A

EDIT:  I just saw that this is very similar to the MHD power system.

In 2006, I made a design about a huge arcology. This building called "Icarus 8000" and it was supposed to replace Athens :P

    8000k.jpg

This monster is too big for Simcity, but we can use the design for Martian buildings. The building has red windows, yellow solar panels and a domed garden.

    martianhome.jpg

It can also be a good addition for Earth as well.

I'm trying to make some BATs for SimMars, but it's too difficult. I'll try however to make the above building as well.

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

That glass would might break easily and its too big for a compact, module look.
