All Props have to have SM_Prop as a prefix in the name so  it's easy to find the SimMars props in the Lot editor.  

Example:  SM_Prop_Oxygentank

Particular Props needed:

- Yard junk! What could people have in their jards on SimMars?
- Street lamps
- Traffic Signs


There is one prop pack available already, I have to fix the download though once my PC is back up.  Let's work on a second prop pack 4.gif

Available now. These are inflatable, automated, and self contained.  Atmospheric extractors provide water and air; solar power is optional.

    ! ! !     A reminder that all props have to have the prefix SM_Prop so that everyone is able to find them later in the hundreds and hundreds of props in the Lot Editor    ! ! !

    Sorry for the delay - and inconvenience.

    Throw out all my old props and replace with these prefix corrected ones. I think they're all in there and there are several new ones.

    You should not have to fix any lots.

    Tim, many thanks for renaming the files, but the Prefix for Props, as I said in the post above is SM_Prop, not just SM_

    Sorry if I wasn´t clear enough about it, I will add an example and rename the .desc files in reader.

    I can re-do it, Andi; I know how busy you are and to be honest I have not notion one what to BAT right now. I saw the error when I posted and just hoped it would slip on by since as far as I can tell there are more SM props without the _PROP_ than there are with. It's not a big deal. Should I break the link then to keep them from getting around? I guess so.

    How would one go about making streetlights - I don't see how the lighting can be made to work on such. Any ideas?

    New streetlamps are possible, I saw that before, but I do not know much about it unfortunately. For the lamps appearing on streets etc. I can imagine that the MAXIS model has to be replaced. For props just to place I think there are more options.

    Ok this has been neglected for a while now.

    I feel we need more props. I'm doing a lot of lotting and I keep using the same props due to lack of choice.

    Over this weekend I will create new props and post here and hope you can contribute too and eventually we can release a new prop pack! 4.gif

    SWAT, can you upload the Oxygen tanks?

    WOW! I'm impressed! You should a building that is amiated! It would be cool! Just break it down to pieces so it can module or better yet easier and faster to make a building.

    I made a pack than contain:

    2 under ground entrys

    A solar power plant from the game space colony

    The ligth from space colony

    The Oxygen plant from space colony

    And some shiping crates

    I think I know how he made them like that. Maybe I can replicate that, but then again I really not much of a prop BATer though.

    The smaller underground (on the right) entry would make a good low-capacity subway entrance, in case you want a subway that you can plop on a road/1-way road/avenue instead of it taking up ground space (space is money in the case of a colony).

    I have created this set (Which I have uploaded to Tim)

    props pack1

    It includes from the top left row:

    Mining dump truck (to go with my previous sovereign mine lots which were in Beta 2)

    Range of large forklifts carrying various loads, ie empty pallet, pipes and hull plating.

    Two pallets, empty and a chemical tank one.

    A Fuel cell pit, tried making an open one but it would not render properly, even with custom LOD's!

    Some millitary stuff for my 51st AA corps, includes a hell swarm S.A.M launcher, A fortress tower with S.A.M and a ballistic missile silo in open and firing positions.
