Oops, my mistake. Didn't notice that one! I got the PanAm-building from http://sims.ingame.de/ . You can download the actual building from here!

Do note that it appears differently in Olympia due to the fact that I've improved not only the lot itself, but also the roof details which were missing completely 1.gif

1.gif You should realize that I've improved it using the LotEditor by adding props to the roof. I'm not sure if some props are available from within my LE due to other downloads, but with that said I can send you my copy.

You'll have to wait until tomorrow though since I'm on my way to bed. It's way after midnight already, and I'm too tired to even think anymore 22.gif

Can you re-post the pics for this thread. They were the victim of the FLUSH. This topic really interests me and I would appreciate actually SEEING what you're talking about.

    Thanks.

This referres to the site Gothia which is to become CityScape in awhile - more info to be posted at the current Gothia Front Screen

Anyway, a long time ago I removed all images within this particular thread due to file storage issues. This, however, left the entire discussion about canals & waterways kind of empty and none-saying without screens to point at. In order to restore this thread to its original state - for anyone that still might be interested in it - I've re-uploaded all images, including tutorials, again! This referres to all pages, from page 1 and so on!

Please accept my apologies for not getting around doing this earlier! 43.gif

On another note, re-uploading all stuff made me realize the early stages the city of Olympia was in when this entire canal & waterways discussion was on its top! 1.gif To say the least a lot has happened since then - in particular with Olympia itself, becoming a European stylished city which was the inital task! The problem back then was the lack of European buildings 1.gif

Well, for those interested; enjoy the restored Canal & Waterways topic! 1.gif

Hello S.A.C, Your city Olympia's really incredible! Glad to see that these nice pics shown on once more. BTW, I have a question to ask.
What's that high row trees in the pic below? I can't find it in my LE prop list. Is that a prop from another lot or made by yourself?
Thanks! Can't wait your new city scape!44.gif

I got the idea from another lot maker who had made a tall pine tree! However, this particular tree lot is my own and hasn't been uploaded to an exchange! But the original tree lot should be available somewhere on the STEX 1.gif

Oh wow, it's just beautiful to discover this thread and see your lovingly created city!

Folks, I think this guy deserves an award!!
    Where's the award show?

    Great, simply great!

B.T.W.: The tall building in the mid of the S.S. above, what is it? Is it in the game already or did you download it? The top looks like a high res building that I know from my city, but its not a skyscraper.

And: Did you ever release this city and your BAT creations?

The building is in the game. It's from the European building set, can't remember its name though! 1.gif And no, this city has never been released! A few buildings have though!

SAC, wonderful post. Normally if there are this many responses, I usually just go on without reading any of it. I read through the whole thing and got a lot of information to use in my cities. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Wow! Great city! I love all of your waterfalls! I'm trying to make Spokane,wa and it has waterfalls right through the middle of downtown. I was wondering what water texture you downloaded so that you can almost intermix the Peg river kit and regular water.

Well Sac/Agra hasnt been around for ages, last post was 6th of November 04. and was quite a time since he was here last before that, also Gothia seems to be coing up slowley.

I think the PEG intermixon lots were part or an addon to the Peg Pond or Stream pack v 105(the oldies that were removed) though someone is bound to have them around somewhere.

    Cheers

Yikes this is so great. I just had to save the pages and went to the new City Scape site and other than some beautiful pictures i just could not find any tutorials..

Also i noticed STEX put up a water mod recently but the link to the one referanced in the forum here
https://www.simtropolis.com/modfiles/content.cfm?section=MODS&detail=298 is a broken link, for the water toolkit.
I try to make the canals but they have white water not blue, so need a different shade to make waterways look good.

This is a great city.. and has inspired myself and many others as i read the pages,, wonderful work!44.gif44.gif44.gif44.gif44.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif

Heya S.A.C good to see you back, beautiful city you've created. I have a question tho, for you or anyone with an idea. As the RTK is no longer available, any ideas on ho to create falls/rivers using the PEG pond or stream kit parts? So far I've had no luck since they all pretty well rely on level ground, giving a stepped appearance instead of a smooth flow. I've included a shot of where I'm looking to start my river, kind of like to have it flow through my city center. Thanks.
