Well I guess its that time of year again, another CJ. It seems like I always have a plan to keep something going on forever, but that rarely seems to work. So with this new CJ I really am not going to promise anything, but good quality and hopefully frequent updates. Lets see how long this one goes on!! 3.gif

Anyway welcome to Lorraine-Tyrol, simply known as Tyrol. It is situated in the real-life location of the state, in Austria but also encompasses Vorralberg. I will really be focusing on a more Fauna-rural style CJ than an actual City-Journal this time, but you will be seeing the capitol Chloe' in some updates. It will be a simi-recreation as well, as you will notice some similarities between Innsbruck and Chloe' and so forth. As the updates go along you will learn more and more about the nation instead of me doing a major first post that explains everything, I think that it will be more like a story as readers slowly gain more knowledge about Tyrol.

Founded in the Stone Age, Tyrol has many Roman and Ancient ruins, the Oeni Pontum Aqueduct in eastern Tyrol being a fine example that the government has restored. Flowing towards the city of Chloe', it provided water to the city for over 500 years. In Roman times the city of Chloe' sat on the most important Alp Mountain Pass, Brenner Pass. Being the easiest way to travel from Italy to northern Europe, Chloe' quickly became a center of trade and wealth in the Roman Empire, and even after the Romans had declined Chloe' and Tyrol played an important part in European History.

Perhaps the only thing more interesting than the history of Tyrol, is its transportation network. Being one of the most  mountainous nations in the world, Tyrol has undergone many expansive and expensive network wonders. The nation hosts some of the longest land tunnels and bridges that thousands use everyday to get around. In recent years travel by train has become the most important and popular, with Air travel declining due to higher prices.

About 40% of the Tyrolean people are farmers, but work on only 26% of the land. Villages such as this are common as farmers compact themselves into tiny villages to allow more room for farm and grazing land. The government regulates what is grown when and where to keep the nations food reserve at a stable level, and also controls all purchasing of farm equipment and fauna.

Y'know, that's not half bad (although when I first saw the name, I immediately had a headache and felt the need to take some acetaminophen). What do they speak there? Italian? German? Tyrolese? Nice pictures. The nature is indeed great.
