When are the 2008 trixies? I'm curious.

You know, typically the expression "/thread" is used as a response to a comment so great no further comment can surpass it (i.e., the thread might as well be over), not in a "stop talking about this" capacity.49.gif

The format usually is as follows:

    {awesome winning comment}quote>

    This.

    /thread.

So I'm gonna have to call you out on inappropriate usage of it, cheesy-boy.

So.... does that mean, that, that particular usage of /thread is aledgedly full of holes?

(Was that too many thats?  That would be terrible if that were that.)

Everybody knows that if you don't like cheese with holes, that you just leave the holes on the side of the plate...   19.gif

    That's a fact.

Full of holes? Nay, it's one big hole. Not questionable, just flat out wrong.

    Np, the number is sufficient.

How does one leave holes out? I say you just avoid Swiss cheese.

Either way, though, if something someone says is full of holes that doesn't mean the person themselves is full of holes, so..... that was a bit of a stretch.

And on the subject of "that", try punctuating / capitalizing this into a grammatically correct and coherent paragraph:

that that is is that that is not is not that that is is not that that is not that that is not is not that that is that it is is it not it is

Answer in white text (highlight to read):

That that is is. That that is not is not. That that is is not that that is not. That that is not is not that that is. That it is, is it not? It is.

    I'm super excited for them!

I only was here for them in 03, 04, 05 ... I miss them actually. They were exciting times of the year!

"Typically" and "usually", as you have used them above, are adverbs. A synonym for the adverb "typically" is "normally", and the definition of "normally" is "in a normal or regular way." The opposite of "normal" is "abnormal."

Consider that you're dealing with a personified block of cheese. That is indeed abnormal, and the "typical" rules of "/thread" usage don't apply here.

Nice try, but no. If you were actually a block of cheese that would work, but in the real world, you're obviously not. Cheese can't think, let alone type.

Somewhat more appropriate, but you can't "/thread" your own post. Just like you can't "Zing!" yourself. Such things are compliments/marks of approval and as such may only be awarded by third parties.

Okay, now that just makes no sense. Are you saying the burn is over? Because that's what the "/" in front of a word signifies. Comes from html (to close a tag, you use the same tag you opened with just with a / in front of it, e.g. < b > Bold Text < /b > not bold text.

ah.  The growing buzz in the crowd, leading up to Trixie time.

    35.gif

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

You've got to be kidding right... already. IT's NOT EVEN OCTOBER!

But while we're on the subject... I think we should vote for the colour scheme. We've already had Greenish Blue, Red, Blue, Light Green, and last year Purple. What's left? Maybe like an indigo or something. Or maybe a darker green?...
