I forget exactly what prompted me to it, but right after the 2005 Trixies came out, I quickly threw these together:

(note that back then medals were sown individually, not compressed into one with a number on it signifying the number won, so having the year on it was accurate then).

The freaky part is, The 06 icons were green. And the 07 icons were purple. I predicted the future, twice.

So, if the hat trick is to be, this year's icons will be dark blue.

It was supposed to look purple. Though, I was just using MS Paint default colors rather than getting fancy with the color editor. And it came out kinda pink because of that.

Um... no. The color scheme resemblance is purely coincidental.

"Replace color" is a wonderful tool in photoshop, lets just hope it doesn't find its way onto ST lest we have a situation like the picture above (I actually think it would be cool to change colors every once in a bit, but that is coding that I do not know the effort to change). Anyway, I think I'll get on the orange bus for these Trixies, but who knows what they have planned for it.

Not to stop you all from speculating, as there is nothing wrong with that, but dirk has chosen the color scheme for every Trixies so far, and I don't see that changing this year.

For the record, I was very much in favor of pink last year, but I don't think it would look too good next to the purple. Too similar.
