Northwoods Report: I have an update ready for posting this weekend. After a small stint with RL, I now have a teaser for all of you to enjoy until the weekend. I had two birthdays, work, and Thanksgiving and that they are now over, I can consentrate on this CJ abit more.

    Rplies:

    Jacky: Thanks my dear friend.

Hester: I do my best on that kind of stuff and for the holiday cheer.

    Twenty20: Thank you.

I have decided to use this and Shulmanator's design as the official Seal and his other designs as well.

And here is the teaser picture:

That looks like a nice small town intersection. Your use of the Sam texture really lends credibility to the quaintness of the area. The only thing I'd remove is the huge McDonalds which unrealistically dwarfs everything else.

Well, after being snowbound and shoveling and feeling sore afterwards, I now have an update and here it is. But first, replies:

Schulmanator, Hester, Hawkeye9: The wait has paid off.

Dfnva: Thank you. Consider it done (later update).

Computerguy890100: Thank you. I have found it and will feature it in a later update.

Shaylan221: You can, well like the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover. Most of my towns are like that.

LOL... a forest maintained by Walmart? Something seems paradoxical there 2.gif Great update. I really like how you've got the small college literally on the edge of town with the farm across the street. That's how it is in a lot of small towns. Wildman looks great, the mix of W2W buildings and mid-rises is good.

That's cool about the McDonalds... just due to its sheer size, I've never been a fan of that BAT.

hey looks great. kinda like an aviation-age place.

just a little suggestion, and I dont want to be rude or bossy, but in the pictures, the zoning tiles don't really look that good in a city. personally I would suggest you hit ctrl+x and type the cheat code 'zoneria' while you are making your pictures.

EDIT: those comments were meant to be directed at the first page, as I did not notice there were 2 more 9.gif

    I Am Baaaaack with Updates.

Well, today is a treefic day for an update. This is Salem and the Salem Forest Protected area. Salem is at the head of a river and right now Northwoods County Department of Parks ans Forestry has allowed logging in the area as long as new trees are planted. Salem is also at the junction of two railroad tracks. Salem is also a bedroom community with about 2,00 friendly people who welcomes wary traveller the the Beautiful Village of Salem.
