$3.21 at BP on Broadway and 234th Street in The Bronx as of... a couple hours ago when I walked by it. Didn't make note of what it was at Lukoil on Broadway and 238th, but they're usually a bit cheaper.

It's about 2.70 over here in kalamazoo michigan. Anyone know why they are going down? I've searched and can't seem to find a relevant reason for the price change?

The decline is being attributed to falling global energy demand and a shaky economic outlook.

This isn't the article I was thinking of when I made my earlier comment (wouldn't be able to find it even if you asked for it), but this article is similar, so you might be able to use that.

There is a gas station that I pass on the way to and from my parents' place.

Yesterday:       $2.79

This morning:   $2.69

This afternoon:   $2.59

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

    Gasoline: $5.59 per gallon

    Diesel: $6.22 per gallon

    the national average:

    Gasoline: $5.92

Diesel: $6.62 I cannot believe that there is places in Texas where people are only paying $1.86 per gallon! Cost to fill up a Ford F-150 (30 gallon) in the UK: $165.35 [at cheapest station] Cost to fill up a Ford F-150 (30 gallon) in the US: $55.80 [at cheapest station]

In Vancouver WA (across the river from Portland OR) I just paid $2.499 for mid-grade; if the Big Blue Pig tolerated 87 octane I would have paid $2.399. It can be found lower I'm told, but I haven't seen it yet.

I have seen quite odd gas pricing in my area. 4 gas stations, one of them next to the highway

$3.99 per gallon (the one next to the highway, about less than a mile away from my town)

    $2.91 per gallon

    $2.56 per gallon

    $2.51 per gallon

I smell an epic fail here...

Its about $1.690 NZD on average at "Shell", per liter here in New Zealand.

I think that means that it is about $3.729 US per gallon.

But correct me if Im wrong, please. Because it isn't an easy task, for me, to convert "$NZD per Liter" to "$US per gallon"

It feels good to put gas in the tank and see the litres go up faster than the cost. Gas is under a dollar a litre here, around 95 cents I believe.

Gas in my area is really cheap, for the past week or two it's been in the $1.96-$2.04 range. Ohio prices tend to have a incredible swing, and are most sporadic in the country.

    I love recessions 9.gif

    No, just kidding...

But the buying power of the dollar has not doubled, so why have gas prices been slashed in half?
