    Mex,

    Outstanding job on all those parks/golf courses.  Your journal is, as I believe you said on page 1, an great visual (SC4-style) history and tour of SF.  I love the detail of the updates, and I guess that will make the rest of the tour all that much better.  Keep up the great work!

    The Homes around the Golf Course.

    Well I thought maybe I should show you guys the homes around the Golf Course. Since many of you really liked the road like layout. So here is this update around the Golf Course. I do try to keep my homes from growing to a minimum. So I don't get the NO JOB thingy Which really scares me off when I see it. Some places you've maybe seen already. But I guess it will be worth it. 2.gif
    Enjoy!!44.gif

    These homes that are black, Which I know why they are. That's because the stupid Avenue seems to make them can't find a job? What? Stupid Sims..26.gif

    I like this CJ and I've been keeping track of it for some time now. It's one of the better recreation Cjs out there. Also is part of the inspiration for a project I'm currently working on. Keep up the good work, I esspecially like the way those residential areas came out, but I would say the best part of it is the way you made those forests blend in nicely with the enviornment.

    This looks very nice, but I think you should use cycledogg's trees instead of peg's around those residential areas to make it look more realistic.

    Another great update Mexicanboy.  I really liked how you used the round-a-bout as a cul-de-sac.  It looks great.

    Isn't that roundabout/ cul-de-sac the little trick you use with an avenue?  It looks cool, btw.  Gonna have to try that again in my cities.

    Great update of the Presidio I like the pictures with fog. You are very good at creating fog in the picture.  When I look at the picture and I see that you put name on the important street. It is a very good idea to put the street name, so people can kown what part of the city they are looking at. after looking at the new pictures of the Presidio, I don't they there is a Lincoln Blvd. in the Presidio. However, there is a Lincoln Blvd. in the Sunset district.

    Excellent...Just breathtaking. The realism is amazing, the terraforming. Everything.

    P.S. Thanks for helping me with the map...though its still a failure....

    Replying to your Comments and Questions

    Buffalonian1 - Thank very much, So happy to hear you really enjoy viewing this City Journal. I do try my hardest when it comes to detail. I hope to see you again very soon.

    Mikeaut1 - Thanks, so it does feel pretty windy in here?9.gif

    Codythemonkey - Thanks, glad you liked the traffic. Yes I am using the NAM, which is a great mod to use and I do recommend it to anyone reading this. Your problem with the lanes is that you need to delete the file Left Turning lanes in the NAM. Thank...44.gif

    DragonAnime - I don't want to use the Doggy's Mod around those areas, because I think they are too tall even the oaks. I think Peg's do blend in well even with grasses..

    superstar - Why thank you..! [:big smile:]

    jacqulina - You don't really need to download the Mod, I haven't downloaded it my self. I rather wait until it is in the NAM. I will show you a little tutorial. 2.gif Thanks, Glad you liked the homes all around the area.

    jessyka who? - Thanks for dropping in. Hey nice to read someone likes the Foggy areas.. 1.gif

    palmgurl - Thanks, Glad you liked the fogginess as well.48.gif I will show you a little tutorial on how to do this as well. You are right it isn't part of the Roundabout mod.

    dhoppeii- Thank you, Glad to see you drop by here.

    meinhosen - Thanks..

    kingofsimcity - It's alright, glad to see you come around.9.gif lol.. Full House... I remember that show on the WB..10.gif

    lucsteven - Thank, Glad you see you enjoying this City Journal. Yes, I do try to add the Name of the Street so people get the clue on where I am. 2.gif There is a street called Lincoln in the Presidio..2.gif

    Stick Fig - Thanks for commenting!29.gif Sorry to hear it wasn't a success. 34.gif

    Omiomitofu - I haven't even started the Airport area.24.gif I would even hate to start it.34.gif It's very hard to make airports, But how I remembered SFO I should get it correctly how I am doing all of the rest of the City. Just wait until I post a region show.1.gif

    GLENNI, Miss Tonya - Thanks, Glad to see you guys comment in here.

    Small tutorial for jacqulina, palmgurl

    interested.

    1. First lay-out avenue.
    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary//118.jpg align=baseline>

    2. Lay down a road at the end of the Avenue.
    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary//224.jpg align=baseline>

    3. Drag a road across the avenue.. As shown in the Picture.
    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary//225.jpg align=baseline>

    4. Bulldose from the intersection and up.
    <ahttp://www.imgcity.net/server/primary//311.jpg align=baseline>

    Baker Beach
    ~Updated~

    The Mile-long Beach lies at the foot of rugged serpentine cliffs west of the Golden Gate. Large waves, undertow and rip currents make the beach unsafe for swimming, but it provides panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands and Lands End. You can fish or check out the shorelife along the beach and rocky shoreline. Restrooms and picnic tables are nearby.

    I blieve I didn't do so well with this beach..34.gif It didn't pass the OK with me..34.gif I think I still may have to spruce it up more...

    Now that's Perfect!! 44.gif
