Hey mex, as I have said before....both for this journal on the one before...you detail is top notch, great realistic layout. And the city is beutiful. I can tell you have put a lot of time and effert into this and it is defenetly paying off. And look at your views and comment count.....I didnt get that in my first 6 months......great work!

Your freedom is the most expensive thing you have, even if you arn't the one that paid for it... Use it well.

Codythemonkey - Thanks for your comment. Great to hear a traffic Fan!44.gif Now that we are nearing the more heavy districts more traffic is nearing!.... We were in some very quite areas but it is getting more and more busy as the updates do come in.

teksyn - Making the Golden Gate Park?[:0] 'your nuts' a 18x like 100 tile would be crazy. lol Why yes the Golf Course is huge. More huge historical things to come. Enjoy this City Journal. Glad you like it. I am happy to hear you love the Bay Area. You will enjoy this City Journal very much.

crouching dog hidden cat - Interesting Name... I haven't posted Alcatraz as of yet and I haven't built that area as of yet. It's not near my planning stages but since you reminded me I will add it. The Bay Bridge is Completed from the West end. The East end is not yet to reach Oakland yet. But I will get there soon enough. What building are you asking for? If you tell me which ones or link me that picture I can link you to that building on the STEX. If I can.... I believe my Region will never be complete. I also wonder did you read the first post I did on this City Journal go to page one on information about this region and so on.

    Mountain Lake

Mountain Lake lies nearly hidden at the southern edge of the Presidio. The campsite of the Anza settlement party in 1776, it became a source of fresh water for San Francisco during the early years. Much of the lake's shoreline was buried in the 1930s to provide a freeway approach to the Golden Gate Bridge, but ducks and waterfowl still make their home among the tule reeds. Mountain Lake today fronts a popular neighborhood park with playground equipment, tennis courts and a Par Course.

    A Pivotal History

Formed roughly 2,000 years ago, Mountain Lake began its life as a dune lake, carved out by wind and filled with groundwater. Native people probably used the lake as a source of fresh water. Juan Bautista de Anza and his Spanish expedition camped on Mountain Lake

Hey Mexicanboy, I've been gone a little over a week and your CJ grows by like 5 pages.....Of course after perusing the updates, there is no wonder.  I really enjoyed the Presidio Golf Course History.  Very interesting stuff there and don't worry about finding a pic of it....we've always got your in game pics....

I really like the closeup shots of the tunnel and somehow I would imagine that the fog pics are quite suitable for the area.

The entrance to the course is very nice.  I really like the sports complex across the street from the clubhouse.

The row housing looks great next to the golf course and the trails throught the course are fantastic.

Mountain Lake, what a great looking place.  What's the fishing like?  Anyway, once again, I really enjoyed the little history portion of the update and the recreation looks fantastic.

    Excellent work Mexicanboy......
