    nihonkaranws: Thanks nihon 4.gif

ky72x: Thanks, those palm trees on the avenue are secret traffic generators 3.gif I think however the one in the second pic is pretty obvious 3.gif

    jacquilina: Thanks!

    hijodecordoba: Gracias.

bokrif: Thanks, I'm glad you like it 4.gif

un1: Hehe, yeah, that page flip is ANNOYING... and confusing46.gif

    Schulmanator: Thanks 9.gif

    CraigKingofIreland: Short but sweet, thanks!

I still need to do some work on my region so I'll post some pictures when I'm ready. I'm thinking of showing some of the Pedrian Riviera next, and then eventually Guadalquivir.

As for now, time for news!

By the way, that maybe is not a guarantee. I have been known to change my mind alot 3.gif

Mike the Mayor: Thanks, I'm glad you like it. 4.gif

    bokrif: Thanks!

TheSixCents: LOL, I just realized that! I must have accidentally connected the words together 3.gif I also tend to have OCD too with Simcity. lol

Schulmanator: Heh, yeah, but he isn't all that bright himself. 3.gif The story was meant to be a parody of the incident between the King of Spain and Hugo Chavez.  3.gif

I've done some remodeling to Carife's old town. Tell me what you think:

All of it looks amazing! 4.gif I really liked the matching textures of the sidewalks and plazas. I wouldn't be able to live without that SSM, either. 3.gif

Schulmanator: I'm glad you think so, I was worried it would look kind of awkward.

    lucky7: Thank you 4.gif

Callbat: Hehe, as they (sometimes) say in Castile, grathiath 3.gif

TheSixCents: I'm not sure what you mean by BATS, since I don't think I have any in those mosaics. lol Thanks anyways 3.gif

ilikehotdogsalot: Obrigado, I was indeed going for a Lisbon look, as I adore the Alfama district 36.gif

    feliwi: Thanks!

ky72x: lol, Thanks, I tried once making a city without the Sidewalk mod and it looked so bland. 3.gif

Anyways, Lepanto is a small town north of Carife. It is much more northern in architecture and climate.

    Costa1-Mar-8-021217732703.jpgCosta1-Mar-8-021217732-02.jpg

    Costa1-Mar-8-021217732-03.jpg

Lepanto is very old, the oldest continuously inhabited place in San Pedro. It is believed that there was even a group of hominoids that lived in this same area more than 1 billion years ago. Lepanto was also a trading port for the Roman Empire, but today, Lepanto is a simple town along the coast with a marina and ferry terminal.

    Costa1-Mar-8-021217732674.jpg

The town's main church is the Church of St. Francis, which was built in 1230, making it one of the oldest churches in San Pedro.

    Costa1-Mar8021217732641copy.jpg

The town is filled with old yet colorful buildings. Many of the older buildings are poorly kept due to the wealth disparity, where most people liver either in wealthy villas or old apartments.

And, for something a bit different:

    Costa1-Mar8021217715163copy.jpg

This scene was inspired by the lighthouse in Llanes, Asturias.

Great shots of the town. And I like the stone textures of plazas and sidewalks. Where are they from?

I believe the sidewalks are from Jeronij's sidewalk texture mod, I'm not sure where I got the other textures from, but the stone one I think came with the Dresden Frauenkirche.
