City of Atlantis

Hello welcome to the CJ of Atlantis, of course it is VERY historical so I'll be writing of curent Atlantis and some past Atlantis.

Downtown Atlantis


Oh yes, I forgot about the 2008 SimCity Summer Olympics! Atlantis will be hosting it. Here is the site (The major league stadium is closer to downtown).


Here we are is the population, the mayor rating and the RCI demand.


Now for the history it will start from 1646-1789

1646- Settlers leave from Easy Point sailing the Fethet Sea
1647- They land at a forest and they wonder in land for shelter from the Fethet Sea
1648- The settlers name there INLAND fort Fort Atlantis
1754- Fort Atlantis gets incorporated with 500 sims
1789- Fort Atlantis has 1,000 sims and the water from the Fethet Sea floods Fort Atlantis after and enormus storm but only lasts for 1 hour

Note: there is no images for the history until the 1900s

Two suggestions:

1. More custom content, and dont plop the same buildings 6 times almost back-to-back to each other

2. Take off the pause border when you take your pictures.

Holy *****, now that's a lot of building repetition...You have a pretty well layed out transportation system, I see potential for this Cj, just get rid of all those "blue buildings"...

Like the rest, they are cool. Except for the blue buildings. Try replacing with some more modern buildings or older buildings. Also when you take pictures take off the UDI icons. And nice transportation system! Love the curvy avenue. Try adding some diagonal streets. Give's it that wild feeling!

Wow nice start and that is quite the amount of cash!

As you might have heard, the blue buildings are a little repititious

But anyway, good job

The reason for the many blue buildings are because of the Houston 1990 setting for the past 5 years (in the 5 years Atlantis grew 120,000) so due to the high demand the blue buildings began popping up more. It will now be set for Euro-Contempory.

Well I say this advertised in your sig and of course having a CJ myself with the same name I had to have a look.

I agree with the above posters, needs a lot of work, too much repetition and its far too maxis. I would suggest most custom content. But tis early days and will look forward to seeing it develop

Well, thanks for your support of course you all said to much repitition, and not enough custom content. Well, bvad and good news is to come is that. Good News: I'm starting a new CJ in the near future (late April or early May) with way more custom content! And less repitition of the blue buildings (except for Ward North, which will be destroyed soon) Bad News is that I may have one update for Atlantis or no more... Till, Late April (this CJ may be brought back when I get better at it)...

No more updates, unfortunatly... Instead I'm working really hard on my new CJ Port Arthur. Please look: (the repetitive buildings will be destroyed...)

Thanks for the comment, well I dont wnt to call it Atlantis because Port Arthur is actually made up of over 30 tiles of small medium and large cities. So I don't want to call it Atlantis for important wies. (Port Arthur has its own region called Greater Port Arthur Area, Atlantis is the third largest city now)

As a tree maniac, I would suggest you add thousands of palm trees on the shoreline!

I agree, just change it's name, and you're ready to go...I really like the new look of the city, although I think that princess tower looks a little strange, or is it just me?

You can just do regional. It doesnt have to be only your city. It can be other cities too in the region. Try adding more things like very high towers or a futureisc city. Possiblies are endless you can go crazy with CJs. This might get you to show your cities in your CJs.

Good,but I don't like skycraper,skycraper,skycraper and more skycraper.But it's a good job and have some low buildings ^^
