I have a little question about NAM (which I downloaded from simtropolis):

after the download I can see new items listed in my traffic menu (like new interchanges, new one way bridges, etc...) but when I want to use them it seems they're not there - instead of a red or green coloured square (when placing the item) I see a white square and I can't place the item (you can't see the item itself before plopping either - like you do when you place original items from the traffic menu)...my question is: do I need something else for the NAM to work? should I download it again? why can't I use the new features/items despite seeing them in the menu?

Why can't I get NAM? I've tried clicking on the links in Tropod's sig and I get network errors and page not found.
I've tried searching STEX.... and nothing. Yet I bear witness to all these folks and their groovy transport interchanges and overpasses etc. Is there, somewhere, a single download that I can get even one of these funky items to use in the game? I've been tearing this site apart for four days trying to find something, but I am still without. Can someone please explain to me like I'm a five year old, what the hell I'm supposed to do to get this stuff? I can't even turn SC4 on and enjoy it anymore without lamenting about it. HELP!!!!!

Blast. I think you're right. Well, it's still a pretty recent version, I guess. By the way, where has Tropod gone off to? If the links in his sig don't work, and his avatar is missing... he hasn't upped and left us again, I hope?

You can download the latest version of the NAM at SimsZone.de as well. The readme files are translated into German, but all in-game captions remain in English if you don't install the NetworkAddonMod_Plugin_deutsch.dat. Please open the ZIP file with a dedicated ZIP program (WinZIP, WinRAR) and use only one DAT file from each folder! Go to this site and click on the Download! link below the first description. (And yes, this download is officially approved by Tropod).

Sorry folks, I can only offer this version. As I said before, the mod itself is in English if you don't use the German plugin, only the documentation is in German. Someone created an online version of the NAM readme, but I don't know the URL nor if this site still exists. Here's a download hint:

I have the latest version of the NAM (dated 11-16) I don't know where Tropod got off to, and the mod section still does not allow uploads, but if you want me to email it to you PM me.

I don't know what has happened to the nam downoad. That site andreas roth gave out comes up page can't be displayed and I click on the link in mine and his signatures and they both don't work. I have the November 15 version but I guess new users would just have to stick with the september version.. I'm going to fix my sig now to get rid of the link.
