It could be used as puzzle sections like the overpasses, but to create a bypass type of thing.

This would be good to use as a good alternative to highways in an urban area and if interchange pieces were made it could be used as a highway in congested dense areas with little space

Okay, I know this question must have been asked a million times before, but I may as well ask it again:

Where can I get the latest released version of NAM?
 
I  see some references to people's web sites, but no links. The only link I can find is in the mod section, but that's a NAM dated Sept 2004. I know I downloaded a later version (Nov 2004) from Trofid (?) web site, but no longer have that link (and I think people said he's gone, anyway).

Which raises another question: why doesn't the mod section contain the latest version of NAM? Shouldn't that be the best place to store it?

Sorry about all of the problems, folks.  It looks like my briefcase was having issues for a day or two.  Looks like things are back up, so just click on the link in my sig to download the latest NAM.

Not any that work and will give you the lastest NAM.  The only one I could d/l was the September version.  I really wish someone knew of a goodsite.

I have an amazing idea, i have a site with a huge bandwith allowance a month and i dont even use the site anymore. I can host the latest NAM's on my site so there wont be any issues with trying to download it. PM me and i can host it for you!!!

aww thank you. I would help out even more with this if i could. I can't BAT worth a darn, but I can mod. And the site will be devoted all to the NAM. It will have everything you want to know about it, the latest updates, and stuff. I have great ideas about this.

What about just putting it in the mod file section of Simtropolis? Isn't that what it's for? There's already a version there, the problem is that it's over 4 months old!

Because now the NAM has a devoted site to its existance. The news has come, NAM has a new home. It is currently under construction now. redlotus has agreed and is sending me the latest NAM for the site and the latest NAM can always be found at the new site. The new site won't be released until it has been completed, which as soon as i get the file will only take about an hour to develope a simple site while the main site is created. So be patient.

Sorry, Bones, but the switch to ST 4.0 messed a few things up.  I have not been able to access the Modd Files Upload/Update portion of the site since the switch-over.  I just haven't gotten around to PMing Dirk about the problem yet.

I suggest reading the readme file.  In short: No, you can't, but the mod provides a couple of files that serve the same purpose as the transit supermod.

I am not 100% sure. Within the readme file it has what mods it can be used with and not be used with. I don't think you can use it with the NAM though, but the NAM comes with its own mods besides the NAM itself like making traffic go faster, and stuff.

and I use transitsupermod with NAM and all is ok - I think so
Ok one more question - what`s file from NAM folder You suggest to chose for the best play???

marszewczak: the transitsupermod and the NAM modify the same parts of the engine (and most of the supermod is part of the NAM) see the last link in my sig to help you decide which mod to use.

newyorkrunaway1: I recommend using the date of creation in the filename of the download for the NAM (this one should be 11-15-04, that way anyone will be able to tell the release date especially if you change the file, this way you will also be able to keep an archive of the old ones if you want, Just a thought.
