Never seen  SE Asia CJ before. The region looks nice, though I question the white beaches. And the fact that the cities look like they're independent intrigues me.

waway625: It's funny that you're the first one posting here. I was inspired by your great cj too and took some ideas (I hope it's ok for you, I still tried to make it my own way).

Nemesis666: The cities aren't independent, they're connected by roads. It just looks like, because the jungle captures everything, even wide roads and highways. With your question abaout the white beaches, do you want to know where the lots are from or does it intrigue you? I would say, it's normal

    Simtastico: Thanks for the comments!

    panthersimcity4: Thanks for posting!

    oceanmariner: Thanks!

frogface: Nice to get a feedback from a really great CJer!

Smarty218: I think so too, I haven't seen a Thai CJ in here. Tanks for posting!

nihonkaranws: I've been there only once, but I loved it so much to make a cj. Nice you like it too!

jacqulina: Thanks for these comments from a trusty poster!

First of all I'll show you a region shot of the western Samut Area.

I’ll begin the main part of the CJ in the north-western edge of the country, near the little town of Kai Baht:

Left of the border (marked with the red stripe) is Vietnam, on the right side Kaibesia. Once the river was said to be the border, but today it’s anywhere in the jungles north of the river:

    01grenzverlaufrh8.jpg

The city on the Vietnam side of the border is Thaine (~5.000 inhabitants):

    02thainevietnamox0.jpg

The two border station with passport control:

    03grenzeoy5.jpg

One of Kaibesia’s major roads starts here: Sukhumvit (Main) 10 (S10):

    04sukhumvit10fk1.jpg

This exit leads to Kai Baht. The Buddhist temple in the middle of the roundabout protects the road from accidents:

    05exitkaibahtxn8.jpg

View over Kai Baht (~4.000 inhabitants):

    06kaibahtuh3.jpg

This is the major Buddhist church of Kai Baht:

    07buddhistchurchvz4.jpg

The avenue through Kai Baht leads back to S10, which is surrounded by little cabins. Some of them are street markets, others are farmhouses:

View onto farms near Kai Baht:

Just 3 km north of Kai Baht you will find the massive Baht rocks. Anywhere in here the border must be, but where? (it’s unclear defined):

    Ben Wat and its airport

By following S10 and the Ben River we enter the district of Ben Wat:

    01followings10wp5.jpg

Ben Wat is a small town (~7.000), which is famous for it Buddhist churches:

    a closer view:

The "holy city"  of Ben Wat:

    04templesny2.jpg

By leaving S10 to north (crossing Ben River), you will find Ben Wat International Airport:

    05airportexitbr6.jpg

    06airportbenwatrr3.jpg

The small airport has only a few connections. The major connection is domestic (Ben Wat Shuttle to Bang Thep International) and operated 5 times daily with the CRJ, you can see at the small gate.

The only sheduled international connection is the one to Bangkok (operated by Thai MD11):

    07fewconnectionsll1.jpg

But private airplanes can come from whereever they want to:

    08privateairplanessz1.jpg

And sometimes also charter flights like this A320 visit the small airport:

Great airport! My only suggestion is to search the STEX for more temples, as you've been using the same one over and over again...
