Go to the tilted mill forums.  people will actually help you there.  you will just get talked down to here if you mention that you play SCS.  sad but true...

the best advice I can give you here (without getting pelted too much with rotten fruit) is to build your city with prosperity, authority and productivity in mind.  those types of buildings have the highest population and best income potential.

You're absolutely right... except that people here usually throw tomatoes, not fruit.

i haven't tried SCS but i don't plan on it... there's too much fun stuff to do with SC4 with add-ons and plugins and all... i do wish someday they could make a maxis sequel that's just like the SC4 model but... updated!

My largest city on SCS is 8,000 but with all the skyscrapers it looks like 9,000,000! To get a large city you need to place high-rises.

    Jondude11 don't try SCS I wouldn't suggest!

It's a vegetable according to U.S. law.  It gets a bit complicated, but I'm half-right.

Okay, now that's just weird, the law determines whether something is a fruit or vegetable?

It has seeds, so it's a fruit- end of story... 3.gif ... or not?

How did we get from SCS skyscrapers to a debate about tomatoes anyway?

Soldyne said that people here hate SCS and then he gave advice and said it was the most he could give without getting pummeled with rotten fruit and then The Dalai Llama said people usually throw tomatoes instead of fruit.

    to the topic started:

I'll say you it's not worth it if you want to build 100,000 people large city.

I've played SCS and made up to 65.000 people and I must say It was boring AS HELL. It's nice from the start, but it just gets repetative and just plopping plopping and again plopping.

I don't recommend you doing so.

Because it got the name "SimCity" in it and most SC4 fans thinks SCS suck bawls because of a ton of reasons. Limited transportation options, much less difficult, repetetive, ugly etcetc.

Tomatoes are fruit by US law, but some of us don't live in the US, I di but some dont, so lets make a general observation: "Tomatoes are related to both fruits and veggies. In some cases poeple consider it fruit, and in other instances poeple consider it veggies." Thank God that's over...

I would suggest not playing SCS, but I'm trying to be helpful even if I have never played the game, and I would suggest going to a different forum. Such as Tilted Mills like someone said.

According to most people, and according to a few cjs I've read, SCS has huge buildings mixed in to the game that has practically no popoulation at all. So wanting 100,000 would mean building a city something that looks like New York or Toronto.

As for Modds, I don't know how to make them personally, but someday there might be people willing to post tutorials about SCS stuff. I'd say you could learn how sometime in the next 1-3 years.

you have to play more than one time to understand the quality. I know ppl dont like vry much SCS but for me its SCS=SC4. Its replacing what SC4 was missing.

And the nuclear power plant looks better in SCS than in SC4.
