Here is my new project (hope to finish it some day),another commie block from Serbia, probably the largest residential building in the country. I just want to hear your opinion if it's to long for SC4...it's about 280m long???

These are reallly fantastic, they fit into to London style cities really well.

Making them CS$ is a great idea, These will help me fill the demand 4.gif

When do you plan to release them?

Those tower blocks look FANTASTIC (especially the first one), Those would go directly into my CJ!

As for the other block, I think it would be great to represent giant blocks like that in SC4. After all, if they exist in real life, then they can (personally, I think they should) be put in to the game. I'm currently working on a 101m long building from Pripiat, so you are not alone in making these, even if mine is not quite as large.

And just one last question, are those apartment buildings going to be modeled together as the whole complex, or are we going to get individual towers? Depending on the demensions, invividual towers would be cool so people can make elaborate complexes as they please.

    Wonderful job,

    -Todd

Its doesn't matter how large. Make it!

However for really large ones I usually break it up into pieces like my Metrocity Phase A and B. Obviously they are meant to fit together and if separated it looks a little out of place. However these look to be low rises (compared to HK stuff) and its possible to have it as a single building (lot). Keep in mind tho that me and T Wrecks have tested extensively the grow capacities of large residentials. I recommend these numbers as the highest capacity in the wealth categories. Anything above these numbers are almost impossible to grow.

R$ 11,000 Highest (Extremely Hard - abandons easy), 9,000 (hard - but stays occupied), 7,000 (medium difficulty), 5,000 (easy as pie)

    R$$ 9,000 Highest (hard), 7,000 (difficult), 6,000 (easy)

R$$$ 9,000 Highest (Extremely Hard- abandons easy), 7,000 (hard), 6,000 (reasonable)

do those numbers and their respective difficulty change when using the CAM? I would assume they do? If so do you have a similar scale for CAMpatible lots of stage 9-15???

That is really cool looking. I see you have put a lot of detail and time into this one!

Is this latest one a SC4 render? If it is it looks truly amazing!!!

Have u realesed any of these yet, because they all look really good and I would get them for sure. 9.gif

Great work and would LOVE to see more.

Fantastic job with these, they are greatly needed. Textures on some of them could be dirtied up a bit more for my tastes (gradient might be good also), but it they are acceptable as they are I suppose. The roof textures on most of them appear to be rather clean as well, but again that is not the biggest deal. The only thing I really would like you to do is to PLEASE not export these against that blue sky background. Your past few uploads have a noticeable, pale blue outline at some of the lower zooms (2 & 3 ) due to anti aliasing or something.

I really love your work recently, I just want to see it looking its best,

    -Todd

These look really great. It's a matter of taste but I actually liked the old version, particularly the old roof. I think the new roof is too dark. The other apartment towers you've shown are also looking good. You've really improved significantly from your earlier creations.

Increasing contrast a bit was a good move IMHO, but I agree with spa as far as the new roof is concerned. If you add darker spots, make sure to outline the contours of the parapet walls and the chimneys. See nofunk's latest STEX upload for a good example.
