Yea Holiday banner just doesnt sound right. And besides Christmas is on the 25th, no other  major holiday is on that date. So when referring to the 25th of December please say Christmas. 

And yes very cool banner Dirk, it really fits in with the site layout.

I hope next year's banner has a little flavor from every holiday celebrated during this time of the year. Not just Santa, but the actual meaning to many different people. Is it too un politically correct to put a cross on it? Hehe, anyways it is a good banner.

Definitely! I think Christmas 2006 was the only year that we didn't have a Christmas banner, but I'm not sure about '03 and '04. Anyway, excellent job, dirk! Your banners are memorable! In fact, I still remember pushing the colored Christmas lights to listen to the different Christmas tunes in '05.
