    2. Why doesn't that highway stays on the ground? Amazing harbor I have to say.

Hmmmm, maybe because those are scrap yard rails are not Transit Enabled? You honestly think that I didn't think of that? 3.gif

And with the highway, the reason it bumps up like that is because I had a toll booth that I really wanted to put in, how ever I only had it in el-highway and not ground.

In all reality this is one of the best cities I have ever seen, in the American style. Your use of integrating both nature (the national park) and the city is quite amazing, and I love the smaller city style you have going. I am so interested to see you move into the villages and such that will line the bay and lake. You have quite a nice region, and I really LOVED that first picture of the highway in your last update. Your new buildings such as the Tower of Americas and the Intercontinental Hotel look amazing, and fit right into your city. Your port(marina) also looks nice, but it seems kinda squeezed in-between the two coasts at the more western edge, but nonetheless amazing.

Great work my friend, I will surely be back to see more.

Well, since I know how talented you are with SC, I had better start visiting this CJ as well! 3.gif

I agree with koekie01 about the junkyard and the highway. Other than that, I can't really point out that rare mistake/error you may have made. Nice work on the industrial area, and its great to see so many recent releases used so beautifully. Try to keep up with the replies next time. Oh, and keep up the great work while you're at it. 3.gif

You already know what this is... Part Two! We'll just skip the writing part and get straight on with the update.

By the way, a few days ago I set this CJ up at SC4Devotion, so from now on, if you want to see the full resolution images and even mosaics (1024 px wide), then head over there. I've already posted this update in full resolution.

•UPDATE SIX Satellite CBD Part One 20th JANUARY 2008•

Tomdapom: Hey thanks Tom! That’s good to hear.

Crazyyaya: Thanks mate! And no problems, you can go through the updates when ever you want to. Glad you are liking the sunken stuff that I’ve put it, you wouldn’t believe how long it took to get that 180° curve part near the hotel complex. And thanks for the comments about the SAM too, everybody seems to be using that these days, a real great addition to the game. I also can’t believe how clear that water it! I was looking through the pictures before I posted them and was thinking about Photoshoping the water so it wasn’t so crystal clear, If you look at where the PEG marinas go into the ground, it almost looks like glass, but glad you like it. Thanks for stopping by!

connorc24: Thanks! Glad you like my little hotel complex, all those BAT’s are fantastic.

    nihonkaranws: Thanks for stopping by.

    vivydu29: Hey thank you.

I like that tan building with no windows just left of center in the first pic. Never seen it. Where do you find these BATs? I also like the warehouses you've found. Among many other things.

Another stunning update, C0ckatoo. I like how you covered many different settings in this update, makes for a good variety. You've used a great collection of buildings for this journal. The apartment buildings go together well and your marina looks amazing. I like how you pay lots of attention to the fine detial in your updates. Another thing I liked in this update is your industrial area, where did you find those power transformer buildings?. The rowhome neighbourhoods look nice aswell. I usually try to find a suggestion to make to improve a cj, but I simply can't find a spot that needs improvement, very well done.

Wow Kockuh2, you don't fail with the Eye-Candy, do you?  Your melding of styles is very nice...one particular that I like (and that you might appreciate) is that I wouldn't compare it to AK's style of mixing.  A lot of the mixing I see lately just seem to emulate him (unintentionally, I assume, but still...), but you don't; your mix-matching has its own flavor, and even though I'm a huge fan of AK's work, I can appreciate it when something has its own flow.

One thing I say, though, is to be careful when using those overhanging lots...especially the diagonal ones.  In the fourth picture of this latest update (the one after the mosaic), the triangular building overhangs in the street...just a nit-picky thing from me, sure, but still.

Other than that, mind-blowing work in here!  I especially like the way that you've given the small HK Office building a dedicated space around which you wrap that sunken freeway...that's one of the most eye-pleasing sites I've seen in quite a while!  Thanks!

I'll have to keep my eye on this one, for sure...2.gif

This is looking pretty good, just that the farms just over the road from large factories and offices doesn't look to realistic. That said, if you can make it look that good, I guess it doesn't really matter 4.gif. Keep up this excellant work!

Simple amazing. I'm loving this CJ, some of the images are truly breath-taking. The scrapyards and power plant look awesome.

How far have you progressed in developing around the edge of the lake?
