I just thought I'd have a look at all the CJs on page 1 and saw your one, and I can't believe how realistic you've managed to make the pictures, as well as that city! Really good work.

thanks for your kind words but i honestly think you deserve it.

your update is breathtaken. actually i don't know where to start... the 12th picture is worth a try by rate one image. i would give a 10+/10 4.gif. i like the small harbor area and the commercial side next to it. i think you've used the slope embankment walls very well.

the 5th pic is great as well, although i'm not quite sure about the proprtion of the trainstation and the surrounded buildings (like the stadion). the last pictue has got something, too. nothing to say about PEG - fantastic

all in all an amazing update

Amazing pictures! Love the photoshopping, gives them great light. I doubt you'll have many complaints of too many pictures at that quality. That was one huge container ship in the harbour, looked like it was ready crush that little Maxis toy.

•UPDATE FOUR  Rockin The Suburbs  26th DECEMBER 2007•

Damn, what a response! Thank you to all of you and I hope you hade a great Christmas.

This is the first update that I bring to you as Baretta's Cacatuidae  too! A nice Christmas present from one of the Admins.

This update shows some of the suburbs that I've been developing all around the outside of the Franklin Sound Inlet CBD. I've hooked up the trains to the suburbs and I'm glad I put in that massive central train station because just as I planned, it's getting huge amounts of train traffic in and out of the CBD. Also in this update are a few pictures of the holiday district that lies beyond the bridge that starts in the CBD, mostly just a large beach and some rustic holiday homes. Enjoy the update and I'll reply to your comments and questions in the next update.

Another great update! The new areas you've built look fantastic. Also, it was a nice idea to use the houses from PEGs mountain pack as suburban houses. Wouldn't have thought of it myself. There's something strangely appealing about the third to last pic.. I wonder what it could be. 3.gif You're right about keeping the sunken mall, it looks good.

Maxis actually adds a nice mix in the suburbs, but the BATs you use are always 100 times better!

Looks great. I love the bats you've used and the presentation of the pics. However, I'm not so sure how well Peg's Mountain bats look in an urban environment.
