This is part of my new CJ - Canterbury, NWE. The district is loosely based on London Docklands. It has been redeveloped mainly for commercial use. Thousands of Canterburians work in this area, but in a middle of the day, when everyone are at work, Docklands look deserted.

@TheMentalist: That's a great financial district! I love how the el-rail runs straight through it. Nice bridges as well.

@abi1995: I can't see your picture.. Refer to this article if you need help posting pictures.

This is Downtown San Jacinto. I went for a medium density appearance, basing it loosely off Downtown San Jose which has height restrictions for the buildings due to the CBD's vincinity to the airport. I hope you like it.

Never nice CBDs everyone!!

@MrBrightside I like the Downtown!! The park in the center is very rich and colorful.

@ Allstillwell where did you get the long building in the center of your CBD?? It seems very appropriate for a city of mine and if you don't mind...

It's a Bat by Ill Tonkso, you can get it here:

Here is another Downtown of mine. Fairfax' South Downtown. I built this city in a rather texan style. The CBD boasts about 160k jobs.

These appear in many large US cities....I have seen them, in New York for example. They use elevators to get the cars down. It's actually interesting to watch.

I thought I would share downtown Carrville with you all. The city has a population of about 50,000, and a bustling, but small downtown. The city has been a major proponent of mixed-use development so there is a healthy mix of residential, commercial and even some industrial development downtown.

Nope; it still wasn't enough. If this one doesn't do it, I'm giving up.

Edit:  Success!  That's better.  I like that downtown, MCO.  The packed in, diverse buildings look awesome.
