Man, I love what you did with the construction image. Don't worry our end of the tunnel is currently under construction too. All rail and the station on land has been completed so its all up to meeting at the middle. Also I was thinking maybe you can show some land progress from when it comes on land somewhere in Sakhalia? Some kind of ex-Commie town or something? be kind of cool

The Trans-Jintu railway is nice idea. I like the way you showed the tunnel construction.

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

Today's update will focus on the Port Area of Akita and the rest of the thriving residential district of First Hill. So lets first go to an overview of the completed district.

One of the Major Residential Districts in Akita, First Hill boasts nightlife, great views, and of course exotic culture in the form of street side markets. You can also the area where we left off on last update. The construction is still ongoing. Also you can a bit of Akita's Port. The noise and pollution from the port doesn't hinder First Hill's amazing appeal at all. It's all part of the exoticness:

Here is a closer view of the densley packed District. The Kyoto Towers dominant the skyline with the Grand Marriott Hotel in the background:

The two Red office buildings have recently been converted to the Fast Ferry Port. The Fast Ferry connects Rugen, Akita, Najing, Naha, and mainland Toright with each other. It's a fun way to travel in the summer, but seas can be treacherous in the Winter Months:

The Akitan Port is the largest in the Adrijin World. Akita handles the most cargo out of all other ports too:

    More of the port:

Here are the ports main offices. The one on the right handles Civil cargo in the form of cars and larger objects. The left offices handle main cargo operations:

It would be better if there were some industrial areas around the port, but otherwise its looking pretty darn good. I like how you've used bixel's latest releases. Grouping those kinds of buildings in a sizable complex like you have is always is good idea.

2nerdy4u: Thanks you very much! I'm glad you liked it.

ky72x: I agree with you I should of. But I wanted it to be more unique so I decided to have a lower class residential area instead. Thanks for the comment!

tankmank: Thanks! I look forward to seeing your port too.

    jacqulina: The update is here!!!!

    Mini-Update.jpg

I did some re-working of the Orel downtown area and also a Satellite CBD. I replaced repeat buildings, but not all as Orel would loose its flair. So after awhile of re-working I can up with a good product:

This next photo is of Orel's Satellite CBD still in the City Boundaries but away from Downtown. It is just One Mile from Imperial Simlympic complex. It is situated around lush posh suburbs home to the wealthy and urban peoples of Orel. Posh boutiques and restaurants can be found along the main street:
