We reached Jonesville today, after travelling all the way down the highway from Marseilles, we were eager to take a look around. The Suburbs were so peaceful and there were so many forests.

The waterfront was beautiful too

Some pictures of the rest of the town:

We jumped back in the Car and made our way further into the city, first we entered Old Jonesville.

There were some extremely posh homes nearby, we heard that the Priminister lives in one of them.

The Port was lovely, I was tempted to go on a boat ride but we had to get to the hotel.

We also saw an Old Camp, I'm not sure exactly what it was for so I'll have to read up on the history. Some of the locals said it was the first structure to ever be built in Jonesville and that the city rose from it.

We got back on the highway and made our way into Downtown where our hotel is.

The area around the hotel was inspiring, I've never seen such heights.

We also checked out some of the new developments, the city is growing fast.

Tomorrow, we're going to go further in to Downtown Jonesville, it literally stretches on for miles. Then we may go to the beach, I've heard the coast is wonderful here. Write to y

Great start! The suburbs look great, the downtowns, and the Marina! I also like the sea walls!

And also, do you use photoshop to create these "post cards"?

WOAH! Fateland is finally back! A lot of you may not know this, but this used to be a journal at SCC...I'm so glad it's back this was my favorite city. Anyway glad to see this back I remember the story and it has inspired me to create some regions of my own in the same manner. Very cool for you to be posting this again. Cool city as always. Pics are great, better than the old, and I love the forests. Sorry about the computer failure, that stinks. Anyway new Jonesville looks great.

    @ -bbfan02-

Thanks, yeh I used photoshop for those. I'm not very good at the editing so that's the extent of it 3.gif

    @ Schulmanator

Thanks, I was going for the varieties by moving through the suburbs and later on the dense areas.

    @ suplado!

Thanks, always nice to get praise from award winners 9.gif

    @ IDS2

Was that your name on SCC too? God, it feels so long back there. I know it's all backed up on Simphoni but, ya know, I'm lazy 3.gif

Thanks for all the praise, I didn't know people actually liked the old one, it looks really crappy to me now, LOL, maybe I just hate my own creations 9.gif

    @ Za

I hadn't really thought that much about the balance between the Maxis and customs so much before but I think I'll try to stick to that formula now.  I always find it hard to choose out of the customs anyway 9.gif

    @ Calibat, edmonton, Smarty, 2nerdy

Thanks for the nice comments, glad you liked it.

I hope to have another update up soon, I'm really slow when it comes to updating because I get distracted to easily 9.gif

Postcard is bit too grainy for my taste but everything else is very beautiful. Good work.
