Hello all and welcome to my city journal, the Asheville Region.  I am hoping to allow viewers to have a good amount of input on what they want to see in the journal so feel free to suggest future updates as my goal is to make this a very enjoyable region to observe.  I hope you enjoy and feel free to comment on whatever you see.1.gif

Alright, let's get started!

Here is a map of the region.  I am a Boston area map.  You can see that not all areas have been developed as I am still thinking about how to go about zoning, transportation etc.

We are going to first look at the largest town on the southern island, Lynwood.

Population: 4,452

Commercial Jobs: 5,915

Industrial Jobs: 1,476

First, let's look at the  various neighborhoods.  The city is primarily middle wealth jobs and businesses.

    Update Time!

Sorry I was a little late but let's get down to business.  Today we're going to look at the new town of Walter City and a bit of the plans I have for the region.

    WalterCity.jpg picture by Sticksboi04

Let me first show you the philosophy I had when designing the town.  It was based the idea that for residential development, you must have adequate commercial zones which parallel to the same wealth class.  (i.e. middle wealth residential = $$ commercial).  For every residential neighborhood in the city, their is a "supporting" commercial zone.

Ok, now to show you some of the town...

    First a small clinic...

    The local hangout at SONIC...

Wow, that is a lot of future development! Suburbs look great, and I agree that the commercial zones should correspond. That's why I plop.

Your city looks great. I really like what you've done with the residential communities and the supporting commercial.
