Smarty218: You can always turn them off if they ignore you, although not very clever only for taking pics because then your sims moan they have no jobs, i just tell them its their fault.

keep it up, its growing quick so well done,

Richard

Great work. The use of curved rail is nice and, as I have said many times before, the harmonious agreement of nature and civilization is beautiful.

Excellent map, awesome use of the curved rails, great suburban area, nice small city center...swet CJ you've got so far

Smarty218: no job zots are common if there are high wealth houses, but no CO$$$ or CS$$$ or I-HT. They need those jobs only...Richy McMansion is not going to work at the corner gas station.

Impressive map and nice development of the city. I like your street-layout very much, as 2nerdy4u has already said, it's a good symbiosis between nature and development.. keep it up!

    Update

I was away for the weekend, so dont expect a huge update bcos it has been a few days! I will be throwing something up in a few hours as well, once i have finished it 4.gif

I have continued expanding the area to the South of the river, and development is coming along well:

    Rudston30.jpg

I would like to pay particular attention to this outstanding building which makes up part of my landfill and garbage disposal area. Its like a photo!:

    rudston31.jpg

Development of the shops and houses was great as ever, however farming is slowing down and needs a boost of low wealth residents somewhere:

    rudston32.jpg

The farm areas that did develop seemed to do so together:

    rudston34.jpg

And here is a closeup of the main area of the town i developed today:

    rudston33.jpg

lalginho - something special coming soon!

Great looking town! Would kick but to live on the cliff but would suck at the same time.

suplado! - Thanks a lot man, appreciated

connorc24 - Thanks connor, always nice to have familiar faces commenting 4.gif

2nerdy4u - Thanks, i also spent some time trying to imagine what i want the region to eventually look like, and i think i will be returning to Rudston way after its finished to make the whole area high rise.

dralin321 - Thanks man, i hope big is beautiful 9.gif

    Update

Starting to return to my old speed of updates, hoping you guys are getting a chance to see them all 4.gif

This update shows a further expansion of Rudston, should be done in 2 or 3 more updates, then i will maybe take a vote on where to expand to next!

This is the area i have expanded into:

    rudston39.jpg

The area hosts a small ex-village centre:

    rudston40.jpg

Here it is seconds after the button press:

    rudston41.jpg

The poorest area so far developed over by the wider section on the river, known as the forgotten neighborhood:

    rudston42.jpg

The area near the factory developed well, and i was afraid this area would end up being too poor due to the factory:

    rudston43.jpg

Here's a shot of South Rudston as it stands:
