Jason and Todd, that's a good idea, but it'd mean I have to make 3 new lot files each time and then the prop files and before you know it, things could just get a bit confusing for the end user.

The way I've done it is to take my original day export, make a few copies of it, and then export my differing night-lighting designs into each one (so all models have the same TGI). This means that you can only use one version at a time, and also means larger download file sizes, but makes for a much simpler installation process because only one set of lots files are needed and also means you can swap them around at any time you like without issues. Plus it gives an overall better appearance. I've tried to export things in pieces in the past, and I've never been happy with the results.

I love the screens they add so much realism and are very cool but a more chinese one could of been cool with the building being in china and all but it is still amazing 4.gif

It's back. The flagship project. Yes, it's AIG! And I promise this time it'll get done. No more projects until it is.

    Model: 80% done.

Texturing: 50% done - but the hard part, the glass, is out of the way.

Night Lighting: - starting again to take advantage of Max 2008.

Could be out before the end of the year.

    Thanks for that guys.

Okay, so for the first time in a VERY long time, I have absolutely nothing on my plate! Everything I've started (that I intended to finish) to date, is done! So for the next few days I'll be open to hear anyone’s ideas about where I should go from here.

You guys know what I like, nice big shiny things (preferably from HK or China, but anywhere is fine really.) I might try my hand at some residential or even industrial if I like the looks of what I see.

Maybe we could even start looking for the next big job to replace the AIG... anyone know of anything in HK that really needs to get done? If it's okay with Paul, I'd like to have a go at ICC. (Never done a supertall before.)

SO suggestions, ideas, anything remotely Asian! 19.gif

Yes, the convention center is an excellent suggestion.

While not even remotely asian, PPG Place is quite shiny.

I think you should try the Peak Tower. It would be really cool to have on a hillside overlooking a city... the Convention Centre is also a great idea. 98.jpg

How about The Address Hotel, Dubai. I know a lot of people don't like Dubai buildings and it's not HK but... But this one is very good IMO.

Wow, your work is really amazing

If your taking ideas, can I be really cheeky and ask for mid rise commercials/residentials? I do love a big shiny skyscraper like everyone else but there are lots of these available. Sim City does really need some variety for the areas around the skyscrapers.

Thats just my opinion, whatever you decide to do next, keep up the good work 4.gif

Republic Plaza in Singapore would be pretty snazzy.
